It our traditional way of tying wrapper by folding the extra top of the wrapper around the waist line so when the king adorn his garment everything will flush accordingly...that's how they also do it in England and France just that they don't tye wrapper over there

The first King( Olu of Warri) was the first son of Oba olue of Benin kingdom known as prince Iginua by the Benin before he came to find solace among itsekiri/iwere (warri)...he was accepted and with time because of the closeness of thier language and his wisdom he was accepted as King(Olu) by the itsekiris who were known as Oma iwere ( meaning warri pikin or warri children)...mind u it was the British who couldn't pronounce the name iwere when referring to the people of Warri/itsekiri that changed the name to warri because warri was easy to pronounce...
Many illiterate who don't know history believes that warri started from the first Olu of warri that's why they say that the itsekiris are not from warri not knowing warri means itsekiri children and it has been in existence before the first Olu was even conceived.....

WARRI don't have olu, warri is made up of various tribes, urhobo, ijaw and itsekiri and itsekiri is the minority

This Olu of itsekiri should stop parading himself as olu of warri, as this may result to another warri crisis if not well handled
