Its either your antivirus is weak or non was installed on your system

All those shouting virus are primary school kids. If your system shows a virus on opening the website, then, my advice is for you to throw away the silly machine you call a computer. For me, the website opens fine and there is no alarm of any sort of virus.

The website opened fine for you probably because your antivirus is not up to date, by the time the you restart your system you will know who be the real primary school kid

If you do not see the problem with a country like Nigeria being represented by a website as rubbish as this, then you are a symptom of what is wrong with this Nation. You see something that is below par and you see nothing wrong with it. Excellence has disappeared from the lexicon of this Nation. Somebody does something that will make the international community laugh at us and you say 'leave am alone, at least e try'. Rubbish. If you wanted to advertise your business would you use a website like that?

This is extremely bad for a nation as big as Nigeria; a nation of more that 150 million people! To think that this is the best federal govt could offer this nation is a big slap on the faces of Nigerians that value quality. But what do you expect when many of our national agencies are run by morons that are usually called 'experts' by the Nigerian media!

What people don't understand is that, in this internet age, the website of any company or government speaks volume.

If the government cannot maintain a proper website, then it shows that the govt is not fit to implement simple developmental plans in the country.

It is a shame that even the vision 20:2020 website is not longer operational, and yet they are beating their useless chests that the vision is possible.

I opened that website with my laptop, my computer was effed up. I had to roll back to two days ago and since I use kaspersky internet edition latest version, and with a rescue disk, I was able to clean out the version but it sure took a while.


I just could not believe that the website is that of the Nigerian government; this is the public face of Nigeria as a whole. It's quite disheartening that our leaders lack marketing strategy.

I read the comments of some people who have no problem with this jagbajantis website, and, like Tupac said, I shed so many tears. I also weep.

If your government cannot portray itself in a presentable manner on something as simple as a website, which all it takes is to hire some reputable geeks and graphic designers to do the darn job, then how is that same government supposed to tackle more complex issues?

Those same people will also say they have no problem with the embarrassing state of our international airports, where NEPA dey take light, sliding doors no dey work, and A/C no dey work. They will say that "at least dem try."

An airport, like a website, is a gateway to a country and where first impressions are formed.

Loudmouth - show us examples of websites that you in your opinion think is not rubbish. The issue I am talking about is the headline here. A website is as bad as Nigeria itself- So Nigeria is an epitome of everything bad - thats the implication of his statement. But then, who is Nigeria? You, me, and everyone else. So, if Nigeria is bad - that means you, and everyone else making up Nigeria is bad, rotten and silly.
