When Obi withdrew from the race, a lot of people here called him a coward and all sorts of name because of tribalism. Now another candidate has withdrawn but the comments are different from the vile directed at PO. May God save us.

Obi made more promises, had more followers, showed better promise than this one. Unfortunately, he chickened out

PDP will remain in opposition after May 29, 2023.

You didn't read his obvious reasons for his withdrawal?

I don't think he chickened out rather he left for the same reasons as Mr Hayatudeen Mohammed. This shows that both men are principled.

Decent men are withdrawing from the race. Hayatudeen like Obi is stupendously rich. They are self made billionaires, not the idiots contesting with looted public funds. They are withdrawing on the basis of their personal integrity which does not believe in bribing delegates. No decent person can ever emerge as candidate in APC or PDP as it stands now because they all bribed their way to the ticket. A person who bribes to get elected is making a business investment hoping to make returns on investment. How do you think that Atiku, Wike, Tinubu etc who are currently spending billions buying delegates intend to recover the campaign expenses if not by crippling the system with pervasive corruption and craft. Nigeria is about collapsing under the yoke of corruption, the earlier we begin to look beyond PDP and APC for presidential materials the better.

Its amazing how you equal Peter Obi supporters with APC supporters, why not Tinubu supporters.. it would amaze you there are APC supporters whom are not Tinubu supporters like yourself whom would not vote a GEJ if he emerges APC candidate.

And who told you GEJ will be the candidate of APC?

he withdrew from the race on grounds of morality noting that the entire contest has been “obscenely monitized.”

Never expect to find morals from the dustbin

The way this northern politician dey hungry to chop our food for 2023 dey baffle me.

President Muhammadu Buhari tenure as President of Nigeria will be expiring by 2023 but they still want to return a northerner to that office.

If Buhari's body language seems to be suggesting that he is tinkering with the process to push the 2023 presidency to his own northern people which is grossly against the process of zoning.

See how Atiku dey fight southern politician for that office.

Their name many

BALA MOHAMMED
AHMED EL RUFAI
AMINU TAMBUWAL
AHMED SANI YERIMA

............................ and many other northern political chieftain want to be President of Nigeria come 2023.

An opportunity that was supposed to be zoned to the southern part of Nigeria.

NORTHERN POLITICIANS DO NOT WANT TO RESPECT ZONING.

Who told you Tinubu would be the candidate?.. either ways you can see there is a massive split in the middle that either goes the opposite or no-vote route. This plays aswell in the PDP too. But Obi's audience is intact and can only grow higher..

Well I don't know. But it was obvious he didn't leave APGA because of principle but possibly because he could not achieve his ambition from such a party with a regional outlook after all BAT and PMB did same by leaving ACN and CNPP respectively.
