Obviously, Prof Osinbajo will be a piece of cake for Atiku to be eaten raw. This is all obvious because the VP has no issue based campaign achievement to campaign his way in. No matter what he’s obviously part of Buhari government and their horrible governance of 8years. Beside he’s a pastor and not a Muslim, how’s he going to fly his ambition in the north? Coupled with the fact that he has no political clout, neither is he widely known amongst the political elites, especially in the north. I’m sure APC will not make the mistake of fielding him.

As with the rubber stamped Senate President Ahmed Lawan, although a northerner, he’s not even widely known. We haven’t seen him display any political strategy. Also a part of the government with the most horrible retrogression in the history of Nigeria. More so, Atiku is more popular than him in the South and he has no political structure whatsoever anywhere aside the area he’s representing in the chamber.

GEJ isn’t even an option. He’ll not fly. Both the north and the south understands too well he’s a pun being used by the elites and Buhari cabal to achieve their evil aim of allowing the north take country through him for another 12 years (obviously he’d be their lapdog in his 4 years).

Amaechi is a joker.

Most election are won by strategy and having a structure that can push your interest in far remote village. Remove these two factors, popularity is a waste of time. And you know in APC only Tinubu has the two factors in large measure

Only Tinubu has shown the political strategy, enough to oust an incumbent president in 2015. I believe if Tinubu emerge and Buhari throws his support behind him, owning to the fact that Buhari still has some relevance in the north. And with Tinubu achievement in Lagos and his charm of always having the best minds on board. He’s going to clinch the Ticket.

Enough of all these rubbish.Tinubu won't be flying the APC flag.He can't even win outside his SW region.

The way it is the APC might even go for the Ahmed Lawan option.

If Buhari wants to rig in a southerner,it will be GEJ

Tinubu will lose woefully in the SS/SE.He is immensely unpopular in the other southern region outside his SW.With the emergence of Atiku,it would be suicidal for the APC to for him

Who the bleep is Lawan lol.

Atiku will defeat Lawan blue and black because Lawan won’t win any state in the South and even in the North he will struggle to get 30%.

North is NE, NW, & NC.

If you say someone like Zulum or El-Rufai now, that’s a different ball game.

Who know Lawan even in that North?

Lol do you stay in the north? Did Zulum or El-rufai buy the APC form? The most popular northerner amongst the aspirants Left in APC is Lawan and they will all likely queue behind him.

Lawan is the Senate president and no 3 in the hierarchy of power today.

Anyone who says he is not popular in the north is merely deceiving himself

Who and who will queue against him? Tinubu/Amaechi and the rest of the southern caucus?

I repeat Lawan will not win any states in the South. I also do not see Tinubu supporting Lawan except if he emerges in a free and fair primaries.

The chances of Lawan emerging from a primaries is 10%.

The Implication of him not winning any state in the South is that Atiku will get the NC and NE. Then maybe the NW can vote Lawan even tho the man is from same NE.

You will tell me how Lawan will win a presidential election by just winning the NW which he won’t even win with 60%. In the NE where he comes from, he and Atiku will share the votes and I tip Atiku to win.

Lawan will likely field Kalu as a VP and should win some states in the south.I agree that Atiku is more popular than him but he will win far more vote for the APC than Tinubu

Tinubu will win more votes for APC than Lawan. It is a no brainer.

Tinubu will clear the SW and in the NC he will get at least 55% - 60%. That’s two region.

In the SS, the APC structure there will get him nothing less than 30% of the vote considering the fact that some state governors are in the zone that are APC.

In the North, it will now be a game of interest. I can bet Asiwaju will get nothing less than 40% in the votes if and only IF Buhari is forced to support him which is a possibility if he is APC candidate.

He is a Muslim and have more network in the North. They can accuse him of anything but religion/tribalism. So it’ll be a game of APC governors against PDP governors at least.

That’s if he also emerges in a free and fair primaries. If not, there will be fracture in APC and people will withdraw support.

I don't know what these people think Tinubu is? His influence starts and ends in Yoruba land.
APC has more northern delegates than South. They will definitely give a northerner their ticket because no southerner can win Atiku in this very election including my own Peter Obi. In the north Children vote, in the educated south even 20year olds don't have time for voting.

The other candidate that can make inroads is Jonathan.

I assume Asiwaju will have no options than to support him or abstain from the proper election.

Jonathan will conveniently get 55% of the votes in both the SS/SE even tho they are traditionally PDP region. I say 50% because of Atiku and LP chunk of votes there.

In the SW, Jonathan will get at least 55%. In the NC, he will get at least 55%.

Then his promoters will do the magic for him in the North if he can get some substantial amount of votes by Northern governors in APC.

Just maybe he might be able to succeed.

Tinubu wont see 10% of the votes in the SS.Quit dreaming. He is even Muslim and can't appeal to the christian middle belt states of Benue, plateau etc
He can't score more than 50% outside his SW

Plateau and Benue people will rather die than vote another Fulani (This is not an insult to the Northerners but just stating fact). Even right from time, those states have always been 55/45%. You don’t know what you are talking about. Is Atiku a christain?

Kwara, Kogi, & Niger will vote APC, check their past record. It’s only Nassarawa that will be swing votes.

Lol, in the same SS where even Buhari got more than 35% in the last election?

Hope you know that Bayelsa (at least 30% judging at last governorship election) , Edo (40% with Edo North), Crossriver, & Delta (Omo Agege) will get APC nothing less than 25-30% in those states.

I won’t talk about the SE, IPOB no election threat/Peter Obi LP will make their votes negligible to make a difference.

The game here is not that SS will vote Tinubu, it’s that he should get at least 30% in four of the states which is statistically possible.

Even Buhari as bad as he is, got that 30% in those states.

Edo governorship election is different. That’s governorship.

Even in that governoship election, Obaseki scored 57% which means that if we are to judge by that, Asiwaju can conveniently score 40% of the votes in Edo which will be a great outcome for him.

If you understand politics, Edo has always been a close state with PDP having upper hand with 55/45 or 60/40 sometimes.
