But it's most unthinkable for a northern Fulani Muslim to succeed another northern Fulani Muslim as president of Nigeria.
You goofed this time by coming out to contest to succeed President Buhari.
Nigeria is a country of multi ethnic and religious groups, with Federal Character Principle in the Constitution, and with
quota system in practice.

I sincerely feel Atiku is a good choice. I am not in support of the fulanocracy and wanton loss of life, plus directionless government of Buhari and his cohorts, but as the country is at present, who will the north vote for? We keep praying, may God help Nigeria.
The problems facing us are beyond any human being.

What is Atiku doing? Hope he knows that a committee was set up for the sole purpose of nominating his running mate. Why must he go ahead and solely pick Okowa. Well, are watching in 3D.

Atiku couldn't have picked Wike anyway as he knew what he did to OBJ. Wouldn't want a repeat. But e get as e be. Ibori's protege is coming in? PDP no try.

PDP should have jettisoned the committee recommendation to throw the ticket open.

This is doing what is right rather than what is recommended.

Not necessarily a fan of Okowa, but EXCELLENT!

First, Wike is a bully and thug who has been using STATE funds to advance his PERSONAL political ambitions, and he would make a TERRIBLE candidate (and a DISASTROUS VP if Atiku wins). Further, a political party should NEVER foist (or otherwise force) a running-mate on a candidate. The candidate should be FREE to choose whomever he feels can best work with him (and whom would owe personal loyalty to him rather than to others who imposed him on the candidate), after due consultation of course. In fact, this is the first “presidential” decision of a candidate and thus he should be his, not the party’s decision to make.

One quality that Atiku has is knowing how to pick a very good running mate. He did it with Obi and now he is doing it with Okowa.
Atiku already knew his running mate as soon as Obi left. He knows that interests will always be loud the outcome of any choice by only party bigwigs
