If we assume the population estimates, that we are over 200million in population, then we can assume that people under 45 (youths) in this country are at least 120million people. The youths over the years have allowed the minority (elderly and illiterate) decide who presides over their affairs. 2023 must be the year the youths start the process of taking control of this country. We may not have a serious youthful candidate (of our age bracket) at the moment, but we have an opportunity to exercise our ability to pick a candidate that thinks and reasons like us.

It should be logic that PDP failed Nigerians in 16years of ruling and we all joined voices (not votes) and removed them, APC has now in mere 7years, destroyed Nigeria far more than PDP ever did, we must not reserve the right to vote them out. They cannot continue after taking the country 50years into oblivion. We must vote them out as a right.

Peter obi's current support has nothing to do with his tribe, his religion or his age. It has everything to do with what he represents, a change from the old guard, who have masterminded the suffering we are all going through today.

We are the youths of today, the youths of yesterday fought for this democracy and got it, however when given the chance to rule, they ruined the country. We have been given democracy, we now need to fight for real democracy with positive dividends for future youths. We must be agents of change and foundation builders for a future Nigeria. We have three main candidates. One intends to employ 50million youths into the army, while feeding them with agbado and casava, one is a perennial contester , who has never stated or proven what he wants to do for us, while the third has vehemently stated he wants to change the fortunes of this country, from a consumption based economy to a production based economy.

A production based economy will create jobs, create wealth, reduce insecurity as people (youths) will be able engaged and improve Nigeria's image globally, thus attracting investors and tourists.

Join the band of positive change. Join because we have a last chance to choose right. Leave party politics ,leave tribal and religious politics, it has gotten us nowhere since 1999. It's time to make your mark as a Nigerian youth. We own this age, before it passes us by, we should do something impactful for future generations to be proud of.

PS: evidence of seeking a production economy is shown in the Egypt trip. You can never produce without power.

I am OBIDIENT.

I don't intend to convince anyone, I intend for your good conscience to convince you. However summarily, Peter obi performed better than tinubu as a governor. Peter obi has less resources and did more than what tinubu with more resources did. However take note that there weren't governors at the same time. Tinubu did well as a governor (not so great, fashola , ambode and even sanwo olu where better ). However the point is that he is outdated, old and frail. Even if he has any good ideas, he won't be able to implement them. You can take a cue from how buhari panned out. He retired in aso rock. Don't make same mistake again.
