jmoore:true.there were those that had 16 years to build new refineries but didn't.if for 16 years they cudnt build or repair the available ones, don't u think its a bit insensitive to blame some one had 7 years?given the prevailing economic realities globally. 1 Like |

egunna: So because someone was there 16 years and didn't do it, Buhari is right to leave it for God knows who, is that the promise he made to us? You all just settle for less and have grown comfortable with suffering. Meanwhile the people in government 16 years ago are the old monkeys in government today so what changed? Prevailing economic crisis in Europe that do not have fuel versus we who have fuel. Why should we import fuel from Russia and co when we have crude oil. Why won't it affect us when we depend on their finished produce. |

egunna:Prevailing corruption is what is hindering. Was Buhari elected to compete with previous leaders in corruption, mismanagement and incompetence? The only reality in Nigeria is massive corruption and Buhari is heading the most corrupt government ever in the history of Nigeria. |

LZAA:if not that u and ur principals cudnt see beyond ur nostrils,if not that u and ur principals ate ur seeds instead of ur fruits,if not because u and ur principals lacked foresight and common sense,u shud have known that it was necessary to fix and build refineries even if we were getting the fuel free.dont come here and talk nonsense, what ever we are going through, some one or some ppl laid the foundation.the present refineries,go find out who built Dem and den come back and tell us.while at it,abeg vex hug transformer. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Moneyboyz:are u really asking me these questions?these are questions u shud have asked years ago when we had the chance to make changes. now that we are trying just to survive, with all the corruption going on,u are expecting miracles.even if we had angels in Nigeria, dey can hardly do anything.as I chat with u,I have this 70% assurance that if u had any opportunity u will steal govt money.so it's when we change our attitude as followers that we can expect good leadership.buhari cannot be everywhere. |

LZAA:u must think u are talking to a novice.which debt did Obasanjo clear?abi dey wrote off the debt.as for Goodluck,he was already borrowing to pay salaries so there was nothing like positive balance sheet.it was under Goodluck that the excess crude account was shared.money that we wud have fallen back to when the rains came calling.google what soludo, okonjo iweala said on Nigerian economy before the present administration. |

tommy589: It's unfortunate that the govt just silent,as if nothing is happening! Yet,the NNPC are showcasing how the MD of NNPC is now GMD as if the man is doing Nigerians favour! How could a nation of Crude Oil since 1960 is still in the same position even when others like OPEC Members have moved away from impoters to exporters of the products! |
