i would say you should calm down, and perhaps don't take things far. I am a school teacher, who teach teenage pupils, so i'm in a good position to understand your experience. Undestand: kids are inherently curious, and most of what they do is as a result of that curiosity ( including the porn you allege she was caught watching). That said, Guide, correct and discipline her (and the rest of the kids) gently and compassionately - that would yield far more desirable result than being reactive and harsh (doing so will only make things worse). Lastly,just so you know, i currently has a pupil who may likely share a similar traits to this girl in particular, so take what i say seriously.

I sent this particular female pupil to report herself to the principal that she was mocking me in class. She went there confidently and returned with a smug face, telling me principal asked her to tell me sorry.

I looked at her unconvinced that she went to the principal. Well I later realised she actually did and the principal didn't take it seriously.

I then asked her to write an apology letter. She went and came back with this piece below.....

Do you have B.Ed or PGDE? She pointed that your voice isn't audible. What that connote is the fact that you are always stationery at a given point when delivering your instruction.

Try and be moving round the various edges of the class while explaining. That way it gives you an overall idea of those who are paying attention and those who ain't paying attention.

Also deploy Reinforcement technique on your students. Like this unruly student, you can mandate her to come in front and teach the whole class. That's how to tame some students. They should also have a feel of what it entails to be a teacher.

As you read this letter didn't you laugh? She has potential, if she could compose this herself in JSS 2. She has a good sense of humour but you can counsel her.

Don't vent your anger on the poor kid. Anyway I'm impressed, anyway...tell her not to start sentences with "And". Also tell her that she wrote an informal letter like to a friend. A formal letter should not have your inner thoughts.

Also take note of the corrections she pointed out. She only voiced out what others are not confident to say, please speak louder. She wasn't insulting you. She's just very outspoken and bold.
