2023: Shettima told to resign as APC vice presidential candidate

As the 2023 election approaches, the Middle-Belt Congress (MBC) has told the vice presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Senator Kashim Shettima, to resign as Bola Tinubu’s running mate, ‘to save the party from perceived impending electoral misfortune’.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that MBC’s leader, Bilal Abdullahi, made this demand while speaking at a press briefing in Abuja on Wednesday.

MBC expressed its aversion to the APC’s Muslim-Muslim ticket.

“The Muslim-Muslim ticket of the APC comes with its attendant political baggage,” Abdullahi said.

“If the APC, as a party, is desirous of making any meaningful impact in the 2023 presidential elections, it behooves on the party to retrace its steps in the composition of its presidential ticket.

“We are constrained to believe that the self-confession of Senator Kashim Shettima towards the Christian community might be a ruse, as his actions of late do not indicate that of a religious tolerant individual.

“It remains a statement that since the nomination of Senator Kashim Shettima, the APC evolved into a riotous organization with various stakeholders in abhorrence for the choice of a Northern Muslim at the detriment of credible and capable Northern Christians."

How can a terribly sick man save a terribly sick country?

It takes the action of a few reasonable persons to make the whole nation better. Think and use your brain for the betterment of all. I support Obi and I'm not saying he is a saint but he is clearly the best option the political parties have provided for us now. We can't continue to deceive ourselves. We have suffered enough and ought to be wise. It will shock you to know I'm from the North Central.

As for me, Buhari's government and the attendant sufferings, pains and deaths are enough to reset our brains and shift our reasoning from tribalism, religion to true nationalism, love and nation-building.

I have an issue with Tinubu as a person and it has nothing to do with his tribe even though some of his people are making Tinubu's presidency a Yoruba thing and it is working against him here in the north. I would have ignored other bad sides of Tinubu but his health is such a serious challenge no reasonable person can ignore. He is also a crafty old man who divides the home he should build. He behaves like a rogue arrogating power to himself and laying dangerous examples.

The stage we are now in Nigeria is very precarious and we don't need any leader who is not responding to questions about his life and not talking to Nigerians about his ability to solve our elephantine problems. Tinubu just wants us to look at what he did in Lagos some blurry years ago and vote him. That is the most dangerous thing to do. It shows we're not learning. Remember, most people sold Buhari to us based on his past integrity, prudence and discipline but the reverse is the case now. It's dangerous to live in the past.

The most disturbing is that everything about Nigeria is crumbling fast. Our lives are in grave danger of insecurity and economic nosedives. We can't deny that Nigeria is terribly sick and it's suicidal to employ a terribly sick man to save a terribly sick country. The whole world will see us a foolish people and may forestall any appeal for help. Most of the foreign commissioners visiting the presidential candidates are only carrying out preliminary assessments. How do you feel after visiting Tinubu as a foreign commissioner? Will you believe Nigerians are normal?

Atiku appears healthier and more knowledgeable than Tinubu and that raises the questions of who is older, more open and responsive to the questions Nigerians are asking? The biggest odd against him is his region being a Northerner taking power from another northerner. It is the highest abberation to our unity. His corruption cases are as messy as dog-shits but Nigerians seem not to respect credibility and honesty. Tribes and religion override them in Nigerian politics.

So let's vote wisely and let who you vote next year do not bring pains, suffering to the rest of us. Use your conscience to prove your love for Nigeria. God help Nigeria and give us the best leader.

How can Northerners support this same Kasim Shetimma that founded Boko Haram that is not only killing Christians but Muslims too.

Boko Haram Militants broke into Kuje Prison and release their Gang members on Tuesday night and on Sunday of the same week, BAT announced Kasim Shetimma as his running mate.

This is not a Coincidence...

Kasim Shetimma was behind that attack in Kuje Prison. He is a known Boko Haram Sympathizer and Supporter. He masterminded that attack on Kuje Prison.

A Vote for Tinubu is a Vote for Boko Haram.

The APC Ticket is now tainted with the blood of the many people that Boko Haram have killed.

Enough is Enough: APC must Go

Lol....1st, the APC forced Shettima on Tinubu obviously because a Yoruba Muslim is not deemed Muslim enough, and hence they need an extremist northern Muslim to compliment the race. A half baked Muslim plus a northern christian will be too 'christianified' to be ruling over this Islamic Nigeria. 2ndly, the APC needs a government that will continue treating the excesses of the north with kid gloves. a.k.a, don't force education on them, don't force quality on them, don't force any standards or modernity on them, you must respect the sharia law (even if it means stoning or burning perceived blasphemers on the street) if they choose to be blood thirsty criminals, try to understand them and dialogue, don't kill them or make them face the laws of Nigeria... tueh tueh...tueh tueh

There are only two groups of people who could vote for a fetish drugist parkisonist and a terrorist. They include

1. Dementias &

2. Terrorist.

Tunubu alone, not even my dog will vote for him, then combine with a renowned self-confessed terrorist, I will divorce my wife if she dare. undecided That is the level of my hate for him.
