The people always had in mind who they wanted as their leader. Please note.

Presidential aspirants presents their curriculum vitaes, capabilities, mandates and other promises.
The people on the other hand choose who they believed can do the job.

Habitually, Nigerian past governments were known for remaining in office for two tenures,
although its not mandatory because the people will still have to choose at the end of the 4 years
if they want to continue with the leader or not.

For Jonathan, the opposite was the case in 2015, when he lost the election by a huge margin to a new leader.
It was so obvious that before inec finished counting the votes and announced the winner,
he has already called his opponent to congratulate him.

He said his political ambition is not worth the bloodshed of any Nigerian,
so he packed his bag and vacate Aso Rock.

But who made the choice?

Was it Jonathan or the people?

Of course, you know the answer to that, when inec announced the numbers of votes.
Jonathan was far behind his opponent. How? The people made that possible.

They felt that he Jonathan no longer serve their purpose.
To communicate that to him they all matched in theirs millions to the polling booth on election day,
few hours later Nigeria had a new leader.

That was election....2
