Oh... I've not been following up on this case. I recall there were three major hurdles the senator had to pass: the age, the consent and the legality of the action. I also recall the court has judged the guy not to be a minor. Has it now been proven that the guy knew what he was going to do and gave his consent? Talking about legality, even with consent, it is still illegal in the UK. However, it can be argued that the agreement took place in Nigeria and, therefore, taking the jurisdiction away from the UK government. Like I've always maintained, there's still a possibility that the senator will come out clean. If he's guilty, let him face the consequences, but if he isn't, may he be released. Our dislike for our politicians doesn't mean we should wish anyone such. The same goes for the guy in question. If he's lying about the consent thing, mat he be caught. Otherwise, may he be vindicated.
