The same with Lee Maeba and Celestine Omehia. Lee Maeba positioned himself which to me was rightly so. But Wike preferred Sim which I hear though not confirmed is related to him but from another ethnic group.
Celestine Omehia was a a former governor but was not recognised as so especially by Amaechi when he was the governor. Wike came in, felt remorse for the role he played in removing Omehia and decided to bring him in. He recognised him as a former governor and made sure all dues due him as a former governor were paid. Omehia had thought Wike would reinstate him by making him the PDP gubernatorial flag bearer. This would have caused tension and unnecessary bickering in the state. These are the disgruntled politicians Atiku believes he could use to win Rivers State. Meanwhile these people stand to benefit more if they support Wike and bargained for a higher stake with Atiku.
Of all of them, Omehia is the biggest loser. He would have been taking his allowances so far as PDP remains in power in Rivers State.

Did Chief Austin Okpara, Chief Celestine Omehia, and co. not attend the Primaries? Did they not accept Wike's decision to push Sim Fubara? Have they ever complained one day?

This is the Presidential election and these men want to support Atiku. That is the problem. Wike has not recovered from losing the election and is bitter against Atiku. That is his own problem. It has nothing to do with men that been allies to Atiku since the 90s.

This has nothing to do with their gubernatorial ambition. Stop changing stories and supporting bad.

My advice to Donald Duke is to dump Wike. Rivers people are just covering Wike. He is a failure as a governor.

Wike is not againat supporting Atiku but such support must have the interest of Rivers' people of course his interest at the centre. Atiku would not come to negotiation table if these men do not form a unit. It is quite unfortunate how these grown up men fell for the divide and rule tactics of Atiku and the North.
