etrouble: You re the problem we have got here in nigeria . He is working for nigeria and should hold accountable no matter where he came from. All we want is good leadership . You think if peter obi is not good leader igbo people will support him? Give us a good yoruba candidate and bad igbo candidate then u will see that all igbo will support the good yoruba candidate. check records of 1999 when Ogbonnaya onu steps down for olufalaye because all nigerians agree its yoruba tenure. Because of what happen in June 12 1993. MKO abiola thing. Stop being follow follow. Think and reason like one who is self developed. |

This one is comparing tax to GDP ratio with other countries. Why didn't he compare per capita GDP? If the citizens had a higher standard of living, there'll be grounds for them to stand, all I see is just a greedy set of inhuman elements. |

mach7: Lol... This is a fast growing industry. More taxes will likely stunt the growth of the industry. Data need to be cheaper to encourage education and productivity of our teeming population. And this is same tax that will be looted. |

etrouble: Hey zombie Lagos was once the FCT of Nigeria even far before Tinubu started nurturing an interest to become a politician… this is what many of you zombies fail to remember hence often comparing Lagos state to other states in Nigeria which were never FCT. Lagos housed the seat of power which in the first place brought about the expanse of development you see in Lagos compare to other states. Just like someone coming out to compare Abuja and other places. Now coming to lots of things you have in Lagos they where all established by the then military governments and some by the whites back in the days. Well I dont know when you were born or when you moved to Lagos too but I advice you to ask people older than you are who have been in Lagos dating back from 70’s. Tinubu only came in and started increasing tax here and there that was the only significant thing Tinubu did in Lagos which was the reason he maximized the almighty IGR which seems as the only thing left for his supporters (People like you who even does not understand what IGR really means) is using to campaign for the sicky old man. |

Aether: You want the infrastructure and amenities of America and Europe, yet you think paying tax is evil. How do you think these more developed countries attained their current level - predominantly by everyone paying their taxes. Wake up. Development is not free. |

wizzybobo:mumu! This is true democracy at work. When MDA's are given room to express themselves, this is what happens. Not one man speaking from above as if he knows it all and his words are law. Positive disagreement brings about the best result. |

They just want to use this naive one as the fall guy.. Now it's no more going to be Pantami and Buhari tax, it's slowly going to be termed Ben Akubueze tax. Why the Akubueze guy will jump into the fray is what I don't know. Is he a Minister? From Igbokwe, Ngige to this one. They will always make themselves available to be used by their northern ogas |
