Senator IFEANYI ubah was attacked yesterday Sunday by assassins which could be as a result of the coming elections or business deals gone wrong, he narrowly escaped the attacks but before the incident even comes out to the public some disgruntled elements and sponsored media outlets has tagged it to innocent Igbos,, now I asked, if cases like this continues to go without been investigated how are these crimes going to be stopped? Am of the opinion that a distinct investigation should always be carried out first before the results are made public,, our media house journalists has become so lazy that there's nothing like investigative journalism any longer,, all they do now are to copy news from the blogs and publish, the way journalism is dying in this country has become a concern for everyone,, all they do now are the besiege events places for brown envelopes,,, no one reaches out to the down trodden to know their area of needs like in the olden days, where are we heading to in this country? Every aspect of our daily lives has become so bad that there's no signs of hope in the nearest future,, even some media houses now are censored before the makes any publication before of fears of been victimized by the authorities that be, fear fear fear everywhere, this is so sad

SIT DOWN THERE. YOU BETTER ERASE THAT NOTION FROM YOUR MIND QUICKLY. IT WAS THIS KIND OF MINDSET THAT MADE THE NORTH TO DEGENERATE TO WHAT IT IS TODAY. IT WAS CLAIMED DURING JONATHAN AS PRESIDENT THAT THE KILLINGS WAS AN ATTACK ON THE NORTH BEING THAT JONATHAN IS A CHRISTIAN AND NOT FROM THE NORTH. THAT IT WAS ORGANIZED BY THE GOVERNMENT OF HIS DAYS. EVEN BUHARI'S PERCEPTION WAS AS SO TOO A CONSPIRACY AGAINST THE NORTH. JONATHAN WAS FINALLY KICKED OUT AND A MUSLIM EX GENERAL BUHARI FROM THE NORTH REPLACED HIM, ONLY FOR SLAVERY, KIDNAPPING, WANTON KILLINGS TO KEEP RISING WITH VERY MUCH EVIDENCE THAT THE ATTROCITIES ARE COMMITTED NOT BY OUTSIDERS BUT BY THE PEOPLE OF THE NORTH OURSELVES. YOU BETTER NOT ALLOW SENTIMENTS TO BLOCK YOUR JUDGEMENT. YOU KNOW THE PEOPLE BEHIND THIS SHIT. DON'T COVER THEM UP BECAUSE THEY ARE YOUR TRIBE, ELSE WETIN DEY HAPPEN FOR NORTH WILL BE CHILD'S PLAY COMPARED TO WHAT WILL UNFOLD IN THE SOUTHEAST IN THE LONG RUN.

I dont think it has much to with lazy journalism. The FG has been thoroughly embarrassed by the fact that they designated IPOB a terrorist group but the international community refused to see the group az such

Their simple strategy to rectify that is to get some media houses and some online miscreants to tag any violent crime commited in the South East as the handwork of IPOB
