This post is created in response to a thread that made it to front page today: https://www.nairaland.com/7334090/2023-poll-shows-peter-obi Reading through some responses which has been a trade mark response that Peter Obi is an online President and would win in every online poll, that online polls don't translate to reality. Well, should we remind ourselves the significance of such poll and it eventual influence? Case study: Buhari vs Jonathan 2015 During the campaigns, numerous online polls were conducted and Buhari crushed Jonathan in all the online polls conducted and it translated to reality during the election...it got so bad that AIT had to take down a poll because it is not favoring Jonathan https://dailypost.ng/2014/11/13/online-survey-shows-buhari-besting-jonathan-preferred-winner-presidenti%E2%80%8Bal-poll/ https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/169737-2015-election-buhari-leads-jonathan-in-poll-organized-by-presidential-aide.html https://saharareporters.com/2015/01/27/ait-takes-down-online-poll-where-jonathan-was-taking-shellacking-buhari Today, Peter Obi is crushing his opponents left, right and center in every online poll. even seun mynd44 and lalasticlala witnessed it back then 2 Likes

ANAP Foundation is owned by Atedo Peterside. Google it. It was Atedo that lured Obi from the PDP. For months, Atedo has been dancing from media house to media house singing Obi’s praise. So, how can you expect a poll he did not to favour Peter? No be juju be that? |

The fear of the "Ruto effect" is sending shivers down the spine of the old horses. The people are more concious, The people are more willing, The people have become the structure, Don't be suprised to see apc/pdp combine to battle obi. There is maximum fear in their camps. 1 Like 1 Share |

Are you talking of 2015 when the elites ganged up for Buhari When the north was fully for Buhari In 2015 it was very clear the entire north and south west was APC own In 2023 Obi supporters are not getting north or south west, they are only speculating that SE, SS is theirs with nothing tangible to back it except emotions 1 Like |
