People can misinterpret words and intentions! Tinubu meant Emilokan as it's my turn to be presidential candidate in the APC ONLY; not as president of Nigeria! People who seem to be confused about this can revisit the video. Even a child could feel the gang-up against Tinubu's ambition within the APC, a party he gave so much to both as a co-founder and builder! So if Utomi who's much versed in the Yoruba language now pretends otherwise, that's his problem. We know where he's coming from and only a fool would expect him to support Tinubu's ambition when his kontriman too is on the ballot. Didn't he step down for Peter Obi when he was pressured by their clans people? How could that have ever happened if he was asked to step down for a Yoruba, even one of the most intimately attached of his Yoruba in-laws? But to deliberately skew meanings and intentions is devilish and wicked, I dare say.
... so in essence?

This is an open secret. The cassava, garri and ewa nonsense yarning sick bullion vans druggie criminal have nothing to offer Nigeria except the selfish shouting of emilokan. I will keep on repeating this excerpt from the PUNCH newspaper:

"....If anything, Tinubu’s judgement on leadership selections is more than enough proof of his lack of managerial acumen. Those who believe that Tinubu has a peculiar skill for selecting worthwhile leaders should at least account for his prudence in fostering a crassly incompetent leader like Buhari, not once but twice! Buhari turned out to be a disaster during his first term, but Tinubu promoted him for a second term.

In 2015, Buhari was hardly a promising candidate, but things were not supposed to be this bad. The man did not solve any problem but worsened everything with his impotence and sadistic arrogance. That was a leader Tinubu helped install twice & we're supposed to trust his judgement again? No!

After the monumental disaster called Buhari, Nigeria cannot afford another leader whose driving motivation for the presidency is to merely fulfil a lifelong dream. Tinubu has a right to pursue his ambition but not at the expense of poor and long-suffering Nigerians already counting down to the days when Buhari’s nuisance will be escorted out of Aso Rock.

The 2023 election should be a turning point. Recruiting another bumbler as president jeopardises that chance. We can all agree that Nigeria deserves better than a candidate without a viable record of administrative success beyond the cheap propaganda retailed in the media and parroted by those who do not listen to their own thoughts before mouthing them

If the right people had done the right thing in the service of the nation, we wouldn't be here talking or dragging back with nefarious syndromat, obsessionist of self aggrandizement otherwise known in a coined manner and parlance of "emilokan".

We are behind but it's not too late. I do hope we get it right this time. However, despite the ill feeling towards a personality I do hope God with turn things around and work for the common good of the populace.

Pat Utomi is from Delta State

So the Delta Igbo people are not Igbo? Or are the Yoruba from kogi and Kwara states not Yoruba just because they're not from the main Yoruba states? So Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala ain't Igbo, ehn?

Pat Utomi has only expressed his opinion. Democracy did not lay exceptions. Democracy is a game of numbers. So Tinubu should be allowed to participate. Vote for your own candidate and let others make their choices. Has Prof won any election before. I stand with Dr Uduaghan on his opinion of him.

Emilokan simply means " it's my turn " !

if it's not your turn then you have to let the man who has faith live in peace

I never pray to make any move if it wasn't my turn .

a lot of people out there are working so hard but never make it cos it's not yet their turn,

" If you believe you can achieve " TUPAC.

I WILL VOTE FOR TINUBU COS HE HAS FAITH AND THATS ALL.

MEANWHILE , It's my turn to grow bigger too ." EMILOKAN "

.....and I don't about you

Go and address your father that way you fool.

mach7:
With all due respect, Pat Utomi should shut up. As someone who has spent donkey years in Yoruba land, and has lived among Yorubas, if he doesn't understand the context in which Emilokan was used, then his education is a waste.

On another note, we are waiting for the macabre drama of accusations and counter accusations that will happen between him and his current "I no dey give shishi" buddy after the election, so he should save his energy.
