Lincoln's thought on democracy as "the government of the people, by the people, and for the people" gifts optimism to masses across the world that in their thumbs or second fingers is the power to determine their destiny.

More advanced disciples of democracy believe in the system because of the virtues of liberty, freedom and choice.

We will be free to choose our President next year. The majority will win and the minority will not be denied their statement spoken through their suffrage.

As days retire to be succeeded by new mornings, it becomes obvious that the foremost duty of whoever becomes President next year is to unify the diversity capital of the world and give assurances to dissidents that Nigeria will be fair to all of us irrespective of our tribes.

But I also agree with the terrorist whose voice at the background said something like there's no difference between the APC, PDP or LP. He went on further to say that even Obi of the LP was once a PDP member and so cannot claim to be a messiah now. So so true! They're all the same. I support neither.

I hope the urchins won't rush to conclude it's obidients at work. The last time i checked, same criminal elements also attacked the Labour Party vehicle in that region .

So IPOB no longer have control over their UGM, who have not listened to their assurances that they will not disrupt elections in the SouthEast?

Or is this a case of selective terror on those who do not have IPOB's blessing?
