A brief history of Nigeria.

The British said to the Fulani,
"This country is yours. We are giving it to you as our junior partners in business because we're aware that debar colonialism, your ancestors had as good as won it with the sword but you have to hold it well. Apply what we taught you because if you let the south take control, you're as good as gone. Remember you've got nothing. We have helped you by merging you with the south so that your region becomes viable. We rigged the census and gave you a higher figure. We added the French colony of Adamawa to boost your population and carved the southern Cameroons away from the south to make sure you have more seats in the parliament. So be smart and keep a grip at things. You noticed how we have dominated the country using divide and rule. It shouldn't be difficult for you with the Muslims in Yorubaland. Even if you're unable to gain the loyalty of any other tribe in the south, make effective use of religion to make sure you divide the south and keep ruling and controlling their resources.

How effective has this policy been against the south?
Why do we have more rancor in the south?
Why was Jonathans greatest opposition from the Southerners who called him a failure?
Now Buhari too has failed. Why are the northerners not against him and willing to kick him out the way Southerners joined against Jonathan?
Are Yoruba Muslims pro Sultanate or pro Yoruba?

Islam is the fastest growing religion in yorubaland.
Oduduwa will just be a puppet state for the sultan of sokoto with savannah terrain.

that's the double standard bro. From unity school cut off mark to performance as head of state or president a northern is allowed to fail and fail woefully but the south is expected to represent the best.
