The judgement of the Court of Appeal of the freedom of the leader of the South East secessionist group IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, have many implications.

My hope is that the evil phenomenon of the Unknown Gunmen (UGM) will be eliminated and peace and security will return to the South East. The genocidal criminals that massacred hundreds of Igbo Youths should be reported to the International Criminal Court ICC.

An armed struggle in the South East will never defeat the Nigerian state. This failed woefully in 1967-70 and it will fail today. No world power will support Biafra today unlike in the past when France supported Biafra.

The Nigerian state can not sweep in the carpet the genocidal massacres of the Buhari regime. The Shia massacres also come to mind. There must be Justice for victims of this massacres.

And using violence as a tool to extract power at the center is a crude plan that will never work. The South lost in the American civil war and it took the South more than 200 years to capture power at the center.

I think it is more advisable and achievable for Nigerian aggrieved groups like IPOB to seek restructuring/true federalism rather than secession from the Nigerian state.

Keep your advice to yourself! No one needs that. You are all part of the problem in this country! You moan and cry from morning till night all over the place because of the Evil gruesome killings of your fellow Shiites by the murderous Buhari regime. Those killings by The Nigerian Army was/is so painful to you, that you made countless threatening posts here, defending Shiites across Nigeria while threatening mayhem.., the same Shiites that have taken to all sorts of methods including violent confrontations with the army to press home their cause. As far as you are concerned, they have the right to fight to defend themselves from the federal oppressions of the Buhari government, but others can not do so.

You want Zakzakky out, at the same time, you are railing against Biafrans fighting to defend themselves from the same forces that killed your people. Do you know that igbos have been killed a thousand times more than the Shiites in this country? If the little violence you faced over the last 8 years can make you unravel this much, how can you then pontificate on how igbos should react? Why must the Igbo continue with a country that treats them so badly? Because you want them to be part of the mess for your personal satisfactions? Crab in the bucket mentality? What is the correlation between the South of America and Biafra? Are Biafrans fighting to keep slavery going? Are Biafrans of the same ethnicity with the Fulani or the Yoruba? Did we come together to agree that this country should be run so unequally?

You lot only feel pains when the violence is directed at you. An Igbo presidential candidate just showed up and all the campaign against him are centered around his igboness as if he committed a crime being Igbo and you still want them to be part of your mess of a country because somehow, you can see the future to know that the Nigerian army will win all wars.. That is insane. You can't cheat a people perennially! Next year will decide Nigerias future.. It's either the whole country is treated equally based on concrete well laid down rules, or everyone goes his separate ways! We are not Siamese twins..

ESN is defending Igboland from fulani invaders. They have no plan to wage war against Nigerian state. Secessionists plan is a UN backed referendum not war
