Shiek Gumi is first and foremost an Islamic cleric. Those clerics have more influence on Northern voters than even Emirs talkless of the Arewa Consultative Forum.
Though I love what the ACF is doing by asking candidates tough questions and indeed other socio-politics cultural groups like Afenifere, Ohaneze, PANDEF etc should emulate them but they have less influence on northern voters than Islamic clerics.
