Mercy Chinwo is one of the most popular Christian artistes in the country.

On Tuesday, she performed at the rally of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of the coming 2023 general elections.

Her performance has elicited reactions from different arms of social media. Some commentators have criticized her for performing at a political event, while others have tried to make a case for the gospel artiste who tied the knot in August 2022.

At the 2022 rally that took place in Akwa Ibom state, the gospel musician performed some of her most popular songs from over the years.

As expected, Mercy Chinwo’s performance at the rally has been met with different reactions from fans who weigh the morality of a gospel artist performing at a political rally.
