From day one Edo and Yoruba are Always on the same page even before amalgamation of Nigeria edo and Yoruba are together .The political figures in Edo state such as Anthony Ehnaro ,Tony Anini ,john oyegun,cheif Gabriel Igbinedion and others are the good example.

You can decide to choose an outsider on the bases of different reasons.

1. The outsider is more frugal
2. He is more empathetic to the people
3. He doesn't have a shady past like having an alleged drug trafficking ring in the US
3. He is not corrupt like the supposed brother who collects 10percent of Lagos State government tax through alpha beta
4. If he is likely to bring more positive change to the society unlike what the supposed brother may bring.
5. I would not use bigotry and religious sentiment to mortgage my people because of tasting power. I will prefer an outsider if he has been proven to do a better job.
