There are occurrences of Spiritism in the Cult which is how they get their doctrines of which the JWs are not aware of except a special small group of JWs in their midst. The most important personality in the Cult is Jehovah who is equal to their Governing body /Faithful Slave because anything their Governing body say is regarded as Words of Jehovah and if a JW leaves the Cult, they are regarded as leaving Jehovah. If Jesus's words contradicts their doctrines, JWs will take the words of their Leaders and discard the ones of Jesus. That is how it works in that Cult. They also deny the sacrifice of Jesus every year as a result of misinterpretation of a Bible verse even though Jesus clearly commanded that the Bread and wine should be consumed in order for one to get everlasting life and be resurrected by him. They also have many doctrines that contradicts the Bible. They also have their own Bible which everyone knows is a Mistranslation with many errors and instances of verses tweaked to suit their doctrines. In fact, any religion that is not satisfied with the many translations of the Bible out there and decides to write their own in order to manipulate scriptures is showing sign of being a Cult. Davidtalo1: They don't permit Marrying outside the Cult because the leaders want absolute authority and control over every single JW to retain their numbers. They say other Christians don't worship Jehovah and will not encourage their members to do so. Whenever they make such statements, understand that they are trying to to retain their members at all costs. It is just a desperate attempt. Unfortunately, that hasn't been successful because of their harsh and extremist policies and secrets leaking out with JWs finding out that they don't know the Cult as well as they should. Presently, the Cult is dying although appears to be thriving in Africa which isn't surprising. Recently, there has been a slow decline in Africa with some creating Youtube channels to share their experience.There was also a slow decline in Nigeria. Many JWs in developed countries have ran away causing many empty Kingdom halls, Bethel branches and Assembly halls to be up for sale. Just Google Kingdom hall sales around the world to confirm. The screenshot below is a list of countries facing serious decline in JW membership. JWs have no idea about this serious decline because Watchtower hides it and gives a false image of the Cult to them, giving them the impression that the Cult is growing showing that Jehovah is blessing them. Their leaders have also been falsifying their population numbers for years as the sales of Kingdom halls do not match the population. They are controversial in Russia because there is a crack down on Cults there. JWs are seen as Extremists with dangerous doctrines. So, the Russian government banned them. In fact, there are some other countries that have banned them too. They are controversial in many developed countries including the U.S because of their growing and serious Child Sexual Abuse cases, Shunning /Disfellowshipping policy and No Blood policy. They have weird beliefs because they are a Cult. They believe in deviating from the norm and twisting Bible verses to make them stand out from the rest. They believe that wehn they stand out that way, they will be regarded as the One True religion different from others. By doing that, they have completely deviated from Christianity. Another reason why they have weird beliefs is their source of doctrines. Their doctrines are formulated through Occultic means which, like I said earlier, the average JW isn't aware of because they have been taught that what they teach is Truth. Only a small number of JWs in their midst are aware of how they get their doctrines. The Cult is very Secretive. So he's biased already that's why i don't wish to continue arguing blindly with him. You say they don't believe in miracles, they should read the new testament from Mathew, Mark, Li ke, and most importantly John to see how Jesus Christ worked countless miracles. They should do same for HOLY SPIRIT. Especially the part where Jesus was ascending into heaven and said he would send us is a comforter which is Holy Spirit. 1 Like |
