Hon. The Electronic Pensioner Verification Bill 2022 and his motion on the establishment of industries in the 360 Federal Constituencies to stem the tide of youth unemployment are glaring examples.

He has ensured that his two bills seeking to establish important institutions - the Federal College of Nursing and Midwifery and the National Football Academy in Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Constituency - pass second reading. *5�Projects: Road constructions, street lighting, school building and renovation, water supply, electricity distribution, skills acquisition centres, etc., have been executed in numerous locations in the 2 LGAs. This is in addition to numerous empowerment trainings and take off grants for the youths of our Constituency.*

�Empowerment: Hon Emeka Chinedu has redefined 'empowerment' beyond the 'new normal' of distribution of grinding machines, inferior China motorcycles, I pass my neighbour generators, etc., His pragmatic Leadership style has enabled the provision of 'seed capital' to over 50 willing and able youths in the constituency as take off grants for their respective businesses.

*7� Employment of Legislative Aids: Not stopping at empowerment, he has deployed capable hands from the constituency for ideas incubation, project monitoring and effective communication. In an unprecedented move, he has engaged over 40 Mbaise sons and daughters as his aides. These are paid monthly from his personal allowances and are directly involved in the running of the constituency. This is indeed more empowering than distribution of cash to voters, an unprecedented gesture in the history of Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Federal Constituency.*

10�Frugality: As we all know, Hon Emeka Chinedu did not come into politics as a pauper or with an intention to enrich himself. He was visibly comfortable and that enabled him to execute projects in record time without dipping his hand in the cookie jar. “O ri wele eriwe ma bia kpota oha." To this effect, we cannot afford to go back to Egypt, neither will you our people afford to disembark from ship ladden unprecedented performance. We do not need hungry, ‘afo-ejughi ala’ type of leaders when we already have one who is contented with his personal resources.

*11�The A. T. Mbegbu Template: It may surprise us to know that future -facing development planning is not new. From 1964, when Barr Theodore Ahamefule Mbegbu represented our constituency at the Federal House, a template for Mbaise development has remained in the pipeline until recently excavated by Hon Emeka Chinedu. The establishment of the National Football Academy Ahiara, in line with the dreams of ‘Mbaise First Eleven’, the Federal College of Nursing and Midwifery, etc. are extracts from this road map. We cannot afford to elect those who have no clue about where we are coming from and where we are heading to. The ‘Ofutara n'uzo kpara mkpara’ phenomenon should be discouraged while we capitalise on the traction gained in the last 3 years by ensuring continuity.*

12�Palliatives during COVID-19 pandemic: During the COVID-19 pandemic, Hon. Emeka Chinedu was on hand to alleviate the sufferings of our constituents occasioned by the lockdown. He distributed Hand Sanitizers worth millions of Naira to curb the spread of the disease. In addition, he donated food items worth millions of naira to the less-privileged members of the constituency, of which the distribution was carried out through the traditional rulers and party leaders.

*13�Deployment Of Personal Mobile Clinics: Aside from the above, there was the deployment of personal ambulance to the constituency to be used during emergencies of the COVID-19 pandemic. To that effect, he launched and deployed a few mobile clinics with qualified medical practitioners who provided First Aid and other services to emergency situations.*

14�Financial Aid And Empowerments: As a compassionate leader, he secured five hundred thousand naira (N500,000:00) loans for over 250 startup-beneficiaries through the NIRSAL Microfinance Bank. He also secured the payment of thirty-thousand Naira temporary employment for over 150 people in the constituency. Not to forget, that he saw to the empowerment of different members of the constituency with multiple hundreds of thousands of naira from his personal purse.

*15�Constructive utilization of his office: Hon. Emeka Chinedu secured the employment into the N-Power programme for over 200 Constituents. Equally, over 20 students of the constituency have boasted of their admissions into the tertiary institutions through Mr Project, not to mention countless letters of recommendations to several others.*

16�Public Relations: Hon. Emeka Chinedu has built the most effective and result oriented public relations in his three years in office. At the last count, he has touched many lives and constantly in touch with several others. Majority of promises he made during the campaign period in 2018 have all been redeemed at different times. One particular case is that of his supporters whom he promised a vehicle if he eventually wins, to his utter amazement, Hon. Emeka Chinedu redeemed the pledge in December 2021, by purchasing a very clean American spec Toyota Venza for him, beyond his expectation. This is just one among several other promises redeemed. Anyone who comes in contact with Hon. Emeka Chinedu will definitely testify to the fact that he is in touch with over 70% of his constituents. He is one man that has reached out to his people more often than any elected representative for Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Mbaise Federal Constituency in the past.

As an opposition first-timer, the proactive legislator has been a consistent strong voice in the house of reps thereby putting the federal constituency on the world map by presenting over 15 priority bills/motions and over 65 interventions. This bills/motions and his interventions have shown that he understands the basic needs of his people and Nigerians at large.*
