Ban Ki-moon To Address General Assembly On Abuja Bombing by Osomo77: 11:24pm On Aug 30, 2011
Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon will address the General Assembly in New York on Tuesday on the bombing of the UN building in Abuja.

The UN correspondent of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Ban is scheduled to begin his address to the 193-member Assembly at 4.30 p.m in New York (9.30 p.m in Nigeria).

The special session of the General Assembly is coming on the heels of Friday’s suicide car bomb attack on the UN building in Abuja, that killed at least 23 people and injured scores of people.

Che! Naija don enter wahala oh! Think twice if you are buying any land in another region from your home, as e be like say e don set for waka to ya tent oh Israel! Tink wetin I dey yarn well oh!! It is not in the interest of any global power to see one Nigeria even in its current messed up state, so we will be bulkanised and maybe the better for it as Nigeria cannot prosper in its current state of corruption and neglect with no measurable evidence of improvement. I also see GJ as one who is easily pressured by the global powers and more frustrated nigerians are fed up enough with 'one nigeria' so they will buy in to it, therefore it is very much likely to happen. Please Lord, let it be peaceful. Amen!

See how ppl are taking security issues serious. Even Nigerian politicians are running up and down though with no direction because it involves UN(ppl that value everything that belong to them, even outside of their territory) building in Nigeria. This same bombing has been going on for some time and we hear police and politicians make noise for few days and go back to sleep and harassment of law abiding citizens; this time around the IGP promised to secure the entire Africa embarassed

LET'S CONTINUE TO ENJOY OUR 'FRESH AIR' IN NAIJA; WE ARE USED TO IT.

At the risk of everybody jumping at me this morning and giving me a tongue lashing I have to say ask if any of this could have happened without serious consequences if there was a dictator at the helm
