Reno is totally wrong.
Tinubu did a plea deal. Hence, baba did not go to court.
But doyin's case, he went to court and they found him guilty hence he paid the fine.

Tinubu's own is a forfeiture while Doyin's own is a fine/conviction

Did Thieffnubu commit a crime or not?

Absolute rubbish. There is no remote connection. Tinubu was never convicted of any crime nor sentenced to prison. He was not even involved in any criminal case to start with.

Okupe on the other hand is a thief. He was convicted of criminal charges and sentenced to prison with an option of fine. Okupe is now a convicted criminal and can’t contest for any election again or hold public office. That he opted to pay the fine instead of the prison term doesn’t make any difference in all.
Oga you get sense.

Reno is very right.

Okupe and Tinubu are exactly the same people...

LP and APC are the same party

As is PDP..which Okupe was a prominent member for decades.

And you people want to vote for APC, LP and PDP?

Shift. I ain't voting for the same party that has ruined us from 1999-date.

Tinubu forfeited a whopping USD460k via a plea bargain or a pretrial knowing fully well that he would be nailed had the case gone into full trial...

Doyin Okupe is filing an appeal of the judgement and will very likely be acquitted.

We all know this Okupe issue was a not so so smart a move to arrest the unstoppable momentum which the ObiDatti movement represents...

In any case, the shenanigans will end up making Peter Obi"s presidency inevitable...

Doyin Okupe will be recognized when Peter Obi becomes president....

Was Tinubu found guilty or not?
He is, based on the system of justice they run in America.
In Nigeria, you are innocent until proven guilty.
In America, you are guilty until proven innocent.
Hence, Tinubu could not prove his innocence, therefore he had no option than to forfeit the 460k(8 million dollar as of 2022). Because if they(USA) take him to court, They will definitely sentence him to prison.

According to the USA-Based legal system. He committed no crime. But doesn't mean his innocent.

He is guilty, based on the system of justice they run in America.

Okupe was sentenced for receiving cash in excess of 5m against the money laundering act. It that is enforced, all of us will be in jail. All the traders in alaba, oke arin, Lagos, Ikeja, civil servants, agberos, lawyers will all all go to jail.
Okupe was not convicted for stealing money.

I will advice Tinubu to step down and support Peter Obi for Equity and fairness. If Atiku wins 2023 presidential election, people will be very angry with Tinubu. Politicians from Southern part of Nigeria will blame Tinubu if Atiku finally becomes the president.

It will look somehow if President Buhari after 8 years in office hand over power to his fellow Fulani man, it will look as if there are no political powers in the South East, South West, and South South.

Atiku capitalized on South East not given a chance to rule this country. If you're not aware how Atiku emerged as the presidential candidate of PDP, Atiku said since South West does not want to allow South East to produce the President of Nigeria, he will now represent South East.

Should incase the entire South miss this golden opportunity to produce the President of Nigeria, everybody should hold Tinubu responsible and not Atiku. It was Tinubu that forced Atiku to seek for presidential post.

I will advise Tinubu to step down and support Peter Obi now just the way Pa Adebanjo did it, otherwise even politicians in the South West will be angry with him if Atiku wins 2023 presidential election.
