How many Nigerians v luxury of studying proper English not to talk of dutch or German. The economy here is so poor that Nigerians trying to survive in ordinary Cotonou, Togo, Libya, Sudan, Ghana etc is as much as those in UK. We just want to live anywhere that we can see daily bread. No one want to deliberately go to a country with economic crisis but if their crisis is better than where they came from, they ll go. Sort your home first and see that Nigerians love their home more than anywhere!

Biggest mistake I ever made was to return to Nigeria after finishing my studies in the UK. I for hang around by fire by force

2. Ease of getting visa
3. Ease of integration (you’ll easily see fellow Nigerians)
4. Bearable weather conditions

Some people are destined to suffer in life and they will go to the ends of the earth to look for suffering.

If you want to migrate, try US via study route, Canada via migration route. Then, try countries like Netherlands. Good places.

UK doesn't have good plan for migrants. They are only looking for new slaves to work for them and pay taxes.

There are jobs and the currency has more value.

They have inventive for family and thr system works unlike here u are on ur own. If u don't have money or know anybody u will suffer unless u can think outside the box.

You don't want to find yourself in a strange land and yet finding it difficult communicate with the locals.

Same way the likes of Senegal, Cameroon and other francophone countries in Africa find it easy to adapt quickly in France

It's the easier route to leave Nigeria.

Some people spent 13 years studying English (nursery, primary and secondary) but still couldn't learn it.

When you correct them, they will tell you that English is not their language.

They don't have sense. When those in the UK, Netherlands, Germany and Co are spending money, the slaves in the UK don't have money to spend.

You technically listed the reasons why...

The UK is largely one of the two countries in Europe that officially use English as a language.

It is not funny to start trying to adopt a second language at the adult stage of life. As far as employment goes, one would be reduced to a blue collar job hussler, regardless of his/her academic credentials due to limitations that are language based.

To simply put it, there are more opportunities that won't have the "European language limitation"...
So that's why Nigerians are alot in the UK.

Brother don't just wake up and start talking without thinking deep of what you are saying, they are hundreds of reasons Nigerians leave the country, check out our security, can you travel from Lagos to Abuja car in peace, one have to do fasting and prayer include your family, nobody in your family will have peace of mind until reach your destination. Check out our lights issues, no employment of the youth after school, lecturers will go on strike for 8 months nothing will happen.

Even though UK is facing economic crisis, make person dash you 1m GBP now.... U go know why people dey run go there......

Even in their lowest point, they are better than Nigeria at it's peak in recent times....

When you're in UK, there's no fear of boko haram, ipob or esn or unknown gun men....

You don't have to carry your phone charger everywhere you go and there's no need for power bank because if you commot for house leave light... U go come back come meet am....

There are a million and one reasons people are rushing to the UK.....
