Having a thin skin over criticism or ridicule is a harbinger of a despotic and highly narcissistic mentality.

While we are all human and have our own emotional limits having an aspiring number 2 candidate to have an emotional breakdown on live TV over online trolling on his original nationality does not augur well with me.

Has there been any Nigerian leader whose ancestry has not been a matter of public debate?

Did they react to such public gossip to the point of mental and emotional breakdown talk more of crying on live TV like Datti did?

Obasanjo was once gossiped about his true parental lineage and tribe with the most salacious and slanderous intent where he was described as the love child of an Igbo soldier and his mother. Did Obasanjo cry or order for the arrest of those who made the claim that made headlines ? No one was arrested nor was any publishing house closed down as Obasanjo had more important things to attend to than flimsy gossip.

What of Buhari (or is it El Sudan) who was labelled as a clone and an impostor - a more serious and seditious allegation that carried criminal and legal consequences which the peddlers of such lame conspiracy had only ear analysis to present as evidence?

Even the no nonsense "Strong man" Abacha did not escape a conspiracy of him being from Tchad but Abacha never sent his death squad or the dreaded DMI led by Col Omenka to arrest anyone who spread such rumours.

IBB is believed to be an Ebira who grew up with an assigned Yoruba mother from Ogbomoso. IBB is also the head of a homosexual elite that also engaged in drug trafficking in the late 70's and 80's.

How about the Cameroonian Bisexual Atiku ?

As for Tinubu, everyone (including himself) knows he isn't a Lagosian nor a Tinubu but no one has been sued over what still remains an unvalidated claim for lack of evidence to back it up. Note that, before the law, a lack of evidence does not translate to evidence lacking. For Tinubu and his false claims, it rests on those who peddle such detractions to prove where he really comes from and what his real ancestry and lineage are.

As a public figure , detractors will always be three. In this era of social media, even our yeyebrities have found a way to monetize such detractions instead of engaging trolls.

For Datti, his emotional breakdown on live TV over a trivial matter compared to other more severe dragging other politicians /leaders have faced exposes a very thin skin and that is something to worry about.

A man of such aspirations should not be in the same league like the now obese Aisha Buhari who uses DSS to harass, torture and detain anyone who mocks her new waist gait.

In short, Datti belongs in the knitting room or kitchen with the likes of fat ass Aisha.

Hypocrisy people, do not judge datti but judge yourself first before you judge others.
