To the best of my knowledge a judge makes ruling based on the facts as presented before him and the quality of the argument presented before him

If the ruling is deemed unfavourable to the defendant then he is free to appeal the ruling with suitable evidence or with the relevant citation from the applicable law and again the Judge after listening to his presentation will rule either to uphold the previous ruling or set it aside. If in the process of the hearings it is discovered that the prior ruling was made based on faulty or manipulated data, then the appropriate sanctions can apply.

But for a court to come forward and say it was misled? Hmmmm

If he was in court during trial and especially on the day of conviction, will there be any need for issuance of warrant of arrest

He was not taking the case serious, that's the basis of his conviction..

Yeah you are absolutely correct and you have answered your questions because some facts presented to judges can be misleading and when there are no defense counsel during an ex parte proceedings how will the court know it has been misled.

The court can only rule on what it is made to believe and the facts presented.

The defendant is now at liberty to contest the ruling via the courts.
