During his stint as Minister of communications, in the military era, he created the Otukpo Digital exchange of Nitel, Otukpo went digital before Makurdi the state capital ( Tho it benefited only the rich, who could afford Telephones back then) He was also instrumental in appointing prominent Idoma sons and daughters at the federal level.
