We need to just stop lamenting and think!
What causes devaluation?
Can a president cause devaluation?

Answer.
Devaluation is caused mainly by excessive importation and less exportation.
Ibo people are 80% responsible for this terrible situation.
They’re the ones who pack all the rubbish that oyinbo people throw away in their dustbins and bring it back to Nigeria claiming they’re importers.
They’re doing nothing but killing the naira because they need plenty foreign currencies for these transactions.

If the govt bans the importation of certain goods to prevent this, they’re the ones who cry and wail the most.
So what exactly do you want buhari to do?
Perform a miracle

I keep saying as a Yoruba person that the only solution to our personal problems is to be alone as a country.
Being with ibo people has absolutely no positive effect on us, rather they bring us all types of bad luck.

I don’t know where you belong to, but try not to be emotional and be more logical for once.
Buhari isn’t a magician.
Ibadan expressway analyst so you are blaming igbo people for the govt inability to assist with exportation? So igbos are the only ones importing the phones, Laptops, cars, clothes and food you use? Igbos are the ones stealing the crude oil that is a major source of our foreign currency? Igbos said the govt should not repair our refinery & ajaokuta steel so that neighboring African countries can buy our fuel & gas thus increasing the value of our money? Or its the igbos that told buhari to borrow nigeria to the stone age? Or dont you know that once you borrow from IMF you must devalue your currency? Oponu, i am asking you
You see why the igbos want out of Nigeria, you guys are intellectually inadequate. And you went to school. Is this what education in SW has been reduced to? Awolowo must be turning in his grave cry

Buhari isn’t a magician.

This is the most senseless comment I have read on Nairaland. Every country imports and exports goods and services. Importation thrives in economies where the cost of production is high because people will be discouraged from producing.

I'm sure you are one of those who voted for Buhari twice and now want to vote for that demented, crack-peddling skit maker. Of course, Buhari is not a magician but wouldn't step aside when he realised he couldn't do the job because he knows that nonentities like you would vote for him again.

Perhaps it's the Igbos that made Nigerian refineries not to work, compelling the entire country to depend on importation of refined petroleum products. Olodo!

In 2015 they say KKK will decide the winner and they decided its Buhari , they chop shege small and still didn't learnt anything from the igbos. In 2019 they reinforced it, now they don chop stone... I am not sure they learn anything yet. No be only stone, they should throw bombs. If na igbos throw stones by now one state is leveled to the ashes... One Nigeria indeed

Buhari failed many people, including myself (yes, I'll admit that). The tall oldie is bereft of ideas and has brought untold sufferings on everyone, including those who pretend not to feel it.

For instance, naira exchanged for #200 for a dollar before Buhari came in and it's not going for over #700 for a dollar. This means the value of every business in Nigeria has depreciated by 250% in 7 years. Buhari is the seamless combination of disaster and calamity.

It's better for Tinubu to stop
inviting Buhari to his campaigns
because he is now a liability ....✖️✖️

Interestingly, it's only the Yoruba,
Igbo and South-South states that are
still giving Buhari heroes welcome when
he goes to campaign❌❌❌

This shows that the north are a very
dynamic political people who aren't
interested in unnecessary hypocrisy❗️❗️

They know what they are doing.
For over 7 years, there were no stones in Kano to throw at Buhari.
Stones started growing in Kano few months to the end of his tenure.
Same Buhari has been going to Katsina twice every year, nothing ever happened. Just his last visit few days ago and they started Throwing Stones too.
All of a sudden, Buhari became a very bad leader to them.

We say no to a Muslim replacing another Muslim, let alone a Muslim Muslim ticket.

People should respect themselves in this country otherwise there won't be any improvement.

When Jonathan was stoned in the Northern part of Nigeria few weeks to the 2015 election. You guys said it is because he is a Christian and from the South.

Are you sure it is not Southerners and Christians that were stoning Buhari in Kano and Kastina as regards the bolded in your post?! grin

One thing I love about the Northern youths is that they are not cowards.

If you are not performing as a Governor, Senator, House Rep., LGA Chairman, councillor etc.

YOU GO COLLECT!!!

Some of them have not reached their villages or community for a very long time.

You will hardly see a Northern politician misbehaving.

The East, middle belt and South are the best places to be a politician.

Chop and clean mouth

You’ve said it all!!! 💯

Imagine what Ikpeazu is doing in Abia state. 😫
