Cash is needed at every stage of mobilisation. Dont forget INEC does not have filling station, they will mobilise people in cash to buy fuel. Not even these days that transfer is failing...will you sell fuel for INEC vehicles and wait till maybe the next day before it reflects? Part of mobilisation is accommodation, feeding is there....alot goes into all these...and you see when there is no cash problem as INEC is complaining like ds .that is the opportunity for money spenders, Agba wire wire politicians who can afford to spend hard currency will take advantage of the opportunity grin no country in the world runs a full cashless policy because they are aware internet could have a network glitch...but you see Nigeria..we are comedians...I was in the market yesterday only few were collecting the old note in Bodija...transfer nor come go ..network..the old mamas were collecting. Some of the goods in the market are perishable. This is just a crazy move supported by people with low IQ, lack of exposure, gullible ones with nothing upstairs. The wailing wailers.

What does INEC need cash for? What kind of logistics payment that runs in millions that INEC cannot pay using e-channels? Nigerians should just end all this obsession with cash!

Mahmood should not fail and blame it on cash (CBN). If anyone should be complaining about cash, it should be village people, bus drivers and market women who handle small amounts of cash, not men like INEC chairmen who control millions of naira.

INEC doesnt pay cash to its workers. It has been transfer. I have been an adhoc staff for over 18years, meaning i have adult participation in electioneering. And all the while, we have been paid via alerts. So this news is fake.

Are you an INEC staffer? Stop quoting me if you are not because e-channels can do almost everything cash transactions do.

The last time I checked, NYSC doesn't pay corpers using cash. Besides, CBN has branches in all the 36 states and the FCT. They kicked off Cash Swap program that targets unbanked Nigerians in rural communities. Those corps members should access cash through that channel, if they really need cash.

Unless the CBN drops this policy, everyone must embrace it. Cashless payments have more benefits than carrying cash about. Our problem is that we are obsessed with cash payments, and we are struggling to come to terms with the new normal. U

no mr man dts d way its been done is it dt day d staffs would leave d work n start looking 4 pos/ atm to cash money,a day bf electn all staffs would av bn on grd,in d evening dey start colectg dr cash so no one colects anythg frm any political agent if dey shd do it electrnclly, wld gv room 4 bribery,so d cash is dole

How many taxi, tricycle or motorcycle owners collect transfer and that will reduce their sales as banking network isnโ€™t okay for now, itโ€™s not easy praising Buhari you thaught was cloned before.

You have 2 options...
1. If you must pay cash, you can do that with lower denominations.
2. We are embracing a world of cashless economy, if you must pay for anything, use the cashless policy.
Ad-hoc staff who are to be mobilised have bank accounts bah?
Don't use a flimsy excuse to postpone our destiny.
We are ready

This is my fear all along... Imagine if protest break out in most state.. Next week is election.... INEC will need cash for smooth operations and efficiencies of their staffs... Likewise security operatives... People keep saying e-transaction... How stable is our broadband services... Especially in remote areas not to talk of most commercial bank servers that lag...

Some of you Nigerians are disgusting.

I wonder why you are tagging Peter Obi fans to the crisis about the naira swap.

Buhari is the one in Charge and APC, why tagging Peter Obi?

So what you guys do now is to tag buhari's failure or what you don't like as Obedients.

You people are just insane.

There are a lot of educated illiterates on this forum. I pray they get their senses back.

You want to fake ignorance that you were not aware that most of the supporters of this wickedness are Zombiedients. APC members and govs are the ones standing against it.

Na Tilumbum be their problem

Little did they know Jagaban is sorted for life

Typical Zombidiots ignorance, after neglecting democracy and Civic responsibility for years, shouting Biafra or playing football on the highway

*Since 1999 NURTW have been moving sensitive and non sensitive materials accross the 774 LGA , they just knew few days to election 22 years later

*CBN stores Sensitive INEC materials for all Region

*INEC pays AdHoc staffs stipends in cash for election day

*ASUU are returning officers

.

So much on point. Many of them just got their voter's cards because of Obi

So CBN is is APC ? so APC will direct CBN on what to do? If APC direct CBN to make money available to APC candidates as you think they control them , and denied other candidates cash elections..CBN should and its is intact independent, all INEC materials take with them so what are you saying? So president can tell INEC chairman not to conduct election if the chairman of the commission says he is ready. What you dont understand is , all these institutions are supposed to be independent. If not the president will dorely without your votes nominated the next president.
what r u even saying?....who's in charge of d currency note bin used in Nigeria....CBN or FG?
