Nigerians are very stubborn set of people! You were given 3months notice to deposit your old note but, refused believing there most be extension of deadline. What CBN need now is to give deadline for submission of old naira notes. So that after ministries in kaduna collect old notes, they will bank it at El-Rufai's house. El-Rufai may argue that he has not done anything wrong. Especially if he’s claiming that he has legal authority. Remember, the Supreme Court delivered a ruling on this; mandating Nigerians to receive old currencies. Why’s there discordance between the Executive and the Judiciary? And who should you obey? Well, let me explain. Remember, the strongest branch of government is the Legislative. By virtue of Supreme Court Act, Chapter 424, LFN 2004, the Supreme Court can make interim injunctions (equitable orders restraining a person from doing specified things in exceptional situations). The judiciary has acted upon these powers bestowed upon it by virtue of The Act, and made pronouncements granting a motion-exparte. It’s left with the executive to implement this order, in line with the rulings of the court. Why are they brazenly challenging the so-called Apex Court? However, don’t for a second imagine that I’m not enjoying Buhari circumventing the court to punish these political holduppers. How much of the new notes do you have at your disposal right now...not supporting those who refused to deposit though not my business...but me and one inter state driver don fight this morning for refusing to take transfer claiming he does not have bank acc...funny enough, when he eventually agreed, the money no con go through...see wahala...laslas na old note he collect.
