Reasons Why Lagos Is No Man’s Land by Odingo1: 12:15am On Mar 05, 2023
Lagos is no man’s land because it was firstly inhabited by Egun people from Benin Republic, Ijaw live along the coast and Lagos was colonized by Bini Kingdom before the Yorubas migrated there from Ife. The white people sand fill 50% of Lagos and built it later become capital of Nigeria for more than 60 years, developed with Niger Delta oil.

Yoruba have captured it now, so it has become a Yoruba land but originally not.

Stop this!, It is not true.

Lagos belongs to the great Yoruba race.

It does not belong to any other tribe or group except the tolerant Omoluabis who are lagos indigenes.

That is why we are insisting that immigrants urchins should not deny a son of the soil opportunity to aspire to govern the land of his ancestors.

Gbedebo Rhodes-Vivour is a true Lagosian and a true Yoruba Omoluabi.

Princess Abiodun Islamiyat Oyefusi is a princess of the ancient Yoruba kingdom of Ikorodu Lagos.

Both Gbedebo and Princess Abiodun Islamiyat Oyesfusi are running under LP as governorship and deputy governorship candidate respectively.

Obidients as true patriots will help this exemplary Omuluabis win the Lagos back to the indigenes and residents.

Ikorodu is not part of Lagos before. Lagos before we are talking about is only Lagos Island.

Lagos State was created in 1967. A very large chunk of the state was carved out of the old Western Region. The former Federal Capital was only a miniscule part of Lagos State, it never extended to the current borders of Lagos State. But some still confuse the State that was created in 1967 with the former Federal Capital, because they bear the similar appellation "Lagos"!

And since Lagos State is a state like any other in the country with indigenes, calling it "No Man's Land" is an absurdity!
