If there is 24 hours electricity, nobody will care much about the price of petrol. You buy fuel for your cars, home generators and work place generators, absolute madness. 6 Likes 1 Share |

It wouldn't be a problem if we had 24/7 electricity. But the leaders don't have sense. They will never do the right thing. Na only them go buy the fuel at 750 |

The price will fall later. The government just needs the courage to endure the first few months of hardship. Subsidy MUST end. |

madridguy: You shouldn't be concerned even if a litre is sold #1k. You'll be getting your own petrol free of charge as a BATist. And NAIRAXI will be giving you free ride to any part of this world. Allow Obidients who alone will be affected by subsidy removal to wail. BATists don't care a rap. Mtcheeew!! 7 Likes |

Price of Uber/Bolt about to skyrocket. More people to dump their cars at home (the number of cars in a state like Lagos is too much by the way). So yeah, less traffic and improved commuting time. More organizations to embrace WFH (work from home). Unless inflation rate improves dramatically, the level of poverty will be unprecedented. 3 Likes |

madridguy: Who will protest? Yorubas, igbos , hausas , ijaws etc? Subsidy would be removed. Nothing would happen. Even dangote refinery wouldn't bring down the price. Gas and oil are international commodities with international pricing modelling. Government would remove it and fool citizens with some palliatives and people would move on. 2 Likes |

Fuel subsidy is a cancer that needs to be cut out. We need to be exporting but crude oil and its products. Get the refineries working, and we can still buy fuel for even less. 1 Like |
