The Adamawa state capital is usually a peaceful and lively city. The twin cities of Jimeta and Yola Town are always full of life as people move freely and happily too.

All that seems to be hanging in a balance now following the political atmosphere created already by the electoral body.

Ahmadu Fintiri has been announced to score more vote than Aishatu Binani, but the later seems to have been declared winner after this last Saturday's supplementary polls whose results have not been wholly announced yet

Some roads in Jimeta Yola are not passable this morning as they are blocked by arm wielding policemen...
