President Muhammadu Buhari tendered an apology to Nigerians as his administration gradually comes to an end, but Omoyole Sowore, the AAC's presidential candidate for the general election of 2023, rejected it. Buhari had pleaded for forgiveness from Nigerians on Friday, especially from those he might have harmed while performing his duty. In response to Buhari's apology, Sowore listed many reasons why the president might never be pardoned in a tweet on his Twitter account.
