How many people did the fraud Obi removed from poverty when he was Anambra State governor? Among the four leading candidates in the just concluded election, Obi was the least qualified.. in a sane society, Obi won't get up to 5% votes. He had nothing to offer as a governor, he wouldn't have offered anything as a president. Unemployment rate is high because many Nigerians don't think, they are as shallow in their reasoning, just like you.

Tinubu name was not mentioned but you felt scared

He will be cooling off in jail

And in a sane society the likes of obi will be the one run state institution for the betterment of their country

Go and hide your face in shame Mr Emilokan slave. Your family name is not even in the gate-crashers register list of your Drug Lord president elect, yet u defend him on every issue, that shows how degenerating your reasoning faculty has become. A drug Lord that runs Lagos treasury by him self why he gives left overs to your brain washed souls. Keep on defending in adject poverty. Tinubu is like a faulty grenade awaiting to detonate. Same life style as the lifeless Daura vegetable. Bunch of old hags and cancer worms. Obi will get his mandate back very soon which may likely lead to a revolution that will revolutionize Nigerian democracy

You can start from the jobs your parents were doing to train you in school. Join your parents in their trade.
You can do it in better way with your education and vibes.

I saw some guys, graduates, that join their one friend to be doing buying and selling of cows.
Within short time they were doing very well.
The business was the parent of the guy was a butcher and they usually go to KARA to buy cows from different towns during their market days.
Those guys joined their friend in the trade, it was a big success for them. They were doing so well the last time I saw them.

Is it that there’s no job at all or we do not get our desired job? Is that what constitutes the unemployment rate?
A typical menial job fetches some people a monthly income above minimum wage and we still categorize such people as unemployed?
All those people having small kiosks including our brothers from the northern part of the country, do you know how much they make on a daily basis not to talk of our market men and women?
All we need is reorientation as Nigerians. We have so many opportunities to tap into especially with our population which serves as an advantage for us if only we know.

I think Nigeria Unemployment rate is based on graduate jobs (white collar) jobs are very limited...

Because to think of it... those Pos, transportations drivers, Laborers, painters and generally blue collar jobs are easy to get and can easily get paid monthly without any stress... but we hav more graduate who are willing to start from office job first...

Do you know that market women and men, its good business.
You will see some market men and market women that have ten, twenty houses in different area of the city.
Trading is big big business and job.

You dont have to have any money to start trading.
You can collect some goods from the shop owner and sell it and return the shop owner her money.
ASK how to be a trader.

Dot stay doing nothing.

Oga oo

If 33% of our 100% population are unemployed

How many children do we have in 100% population depending on the employed?!

How many old people do we have dependent on the employed

How many full house wife do we have dependent on the employed

How many people are under employed

How many people are gainfully employed

.

Unemployment rate is not relative to the total population, but the total labour force. In some countries, ages 15-64 are considered active labour force, while 18-60 is the standard in others.

India, the world’s most populous country has this low unemployment rate, but Nigeria with less than 20% of that population tops the list at over 33% unemployment rate. Smh!

Since our government sold out everything and tax them. Nigeria has been moving backward.

This government only want tax without taking responsibility. Most of civil service job involves collecting stamp duty.

We could as well sell defence department to private company and and tax them to see if they would defend us better.

We need help

Japa!

Do you know that are many many on japa level that dont have money to buy ticket to visit home.
They are also very lazy even in abroad.
You need to be hard working.
Stop lamenting from morning till night. Rather, do something with your time.
Lamentation earn you nothing.
Just like those that lament 24/7 in abroad have no money.

Unemployment rate without looking at population is total B.S.! We all know Nigeria continues to pump out graduates year in and out but the number of companies hiring continues to decrease. Abeg where dem wan put all these graduates? 2020 set still dey wait for job, 2022 is loadin, 2023 forget about it.

Government should enable an attractive business atmosphere and provide tax incentives so that the private sector can do its damn job. Further, the so called graduates and awaiting workers should understand the Nigerian job market and diversify their skillset rather than waiting for one job from heaven. Look at them on Nairaland, the usual jobless people are here bantering, why wouldn't government treat una as a joke? angry angry
The graduates should create jobs for themselves and for other people

If you dont have a job it is your fault. How can you not have a job seriously. You have to be handicap first.

You no fry Akara, learn tailor, mechanic, plumber, you no learn farming. Shoe maker. I mean nothing. You literally are doing nothing. But blaming the government.

There was a good friend of mine back in uniben. The guy was very smart in our set
We used to envy this guy lowkey
He was always top in class, Very smart guy
After graduation i never heard of him
We even thought he went abroad

Couple years passed. On the day my parents celebrated silver jubillee it was towards the end of the event in church reception hall after refreshment that i saw a guy with tear tear cloth packing left over rice to eat
Lo behold it was that guy
I just froze as i watch him in pity
I wanted to call his name but tears just roll from my eyes. I was shocked i couldnt move i just sat there watching as he was searching for food to eat from the leftovers

Someone we used to envy back in uni
Very bright and intelligent guy
Till this day i wonder what happened to that guy.
People arw passing theu hell in nigeria

What did you do to help him get out of the mess?

Look around you, you will see some that are doing wonderfully well.
Not everybody get their money from corruption.
Many get theirs from their sweat.
Open your eyes and learn from others way of doing things.
Hard work is necessary to be successful in your chosen path.
The stats are telling lies...There is security and stable electricity in Nigeria...lol open ur eyes you will see it. Don't mind them
