Tax would increase for sure. Tinubu has a lot of settlements to do. We need someone who is not attached to so many people. Attachment to so many people means more settlement. A lot of people love Tinubu because of what he did as a Governnor, same with Buhari with what he and Idiagbon did in terms of indiscipline and corruption, but all these are going to look overwhelming for Tinubu. He is old and frail. When insecurities start climbing in numbers, he would be confused. Buhari who thought it's a military thing was far way overwhelmed even in his own craft of security personnel. I want Tinubu to do well because it is for the good of everybody, but I strongly doubt it. |

Forget all the negative press against the man, the man is a thinker and problem solver. He may not be as active as he was when he was younger, how many of us are as active as we were 5 years ago not to talk of 20 years ago, but he does have a lot going for him. Beyond all the politics and banters, I know that many of his opponents know deep in their hearts that the man has the antecedence, but they prefer to defer attention to his so-called political gaffes rather than agree to talk about things he has successfully done. |

Let's assume Tinubu has no corrupt cases hanging on his neck. A younger Tinubu will actually turn the economy around even though he will still loot the Treasury. He will be able to move around, call the shots and make sure his dreams are achieved for Nigeria. But an 89 year old Tinubu cannot do anything. He is too old to move around, ministers will do as they deem fit and cabals will eventually take over the government and loot the Treasury recklessly. Corruption will be on the high and the economy will remain the same or get worse. |
