On May 29th, 2023, Chief Raymond Dokpesi, the Chairman of Daar Communications (AIT) and a politician, passed away. Dokpesi, a prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), reportedly died in Abuja at the age of 71.According to an insider who spoke with The Punch correspondent, he suffered a stroke and unfortunately succumbed to it while receiving treatment at a hospital in Abuja. The stroke occurred after the conclusion of the recent Ramadan fast.
