The calibre of people that will work with Tinubu will determine the fate Nigerian will hv in his government moreso, senator Godswill Akpabio was a good Past Governor of Akwa Ibom state with excellent proves to show for it and he as left a templates future incoming Govenors of the state can use to manage the affairs of the state which i think has been helpgul for the previous governor IDom Emmanuel. But sadly, the famous good govenors havn't switch to becoming a Senator have become so corrupt that large chunk of money is been diverted for private use. .They even go to the extent of breaking colanut to take oath of secrecy so to embezzle funds. .Akpabio is not fit to a senate president under this new disoensation |

Acekidc4: Why is that "how it's supposed to be"? Shouldn't it be competence over place of origin? Especially considering that this government has been touting Government of National Competence? |

Acekidc4: That's not what I am saying. I am asking why we only have to consider competent people within the south. Why don't we have to consider all qualified and competent people that are Nigerians irrespective of where in Nigeria they come from? Note that I am from the South South and an Akpabio Senate Presidency is supposed to "favour me and my family" 1 Like 1 Share |

That's one thing with Niger Delta people. They love taking bribes. These ones are speaking for their selfish interest and not for Niger Delta. What would a senate President bring to Niger Delta other than to sit and rubber stamp? Afro3: |

Afro3: Niger Delta has long collected the baton of political uselessness from the south east. That's the reason people like the criminal militant Asari who for years, was plundering pipelines and killing security operatives, but now, he is roaming Abuja street with fellow young criminals in the name of solidarity for Asiwaju. A criminal like Asari who displays his arsenal conspicuously but hasn't been arrested for possession of arms. I'm super impressed that Akwaibom State is leaving the rest of those crude Niger Deltans behind Nigeria could be a huge fcken joke.. |

I may agree with that Akpabio is among the most topmost corrupt politicians in the world, but my question is this "is there any politician in current Nigeria that is not corrupt?" Maybe Tinubu sees no person he wants in the south South except Akpabio hence he hates Southeastners. I come in peace ✌️. |

I don't know this group and I don't want to. All I know is Akpabio can never be trusted, the man is a thief and he doesn't fly straight. Imagine all he did in NDDC.... The Senate should look for another consensus candidate, or rather APC. We don't want another disaster in the name of senate President. The man is hunting this job to avoid EFCC from getting him, don't forget he has a lot to answer for.... Be informed. 1 Like |
