Is this necessary?
What will the students be doing then?
What sort of question is that? Can't they do homework?

Oga nobody dey lie public student are carried for free with BRT go to Maryland Agric you see doz student been given lift even though most time is standing....
So I know you will want to use ur bitterness to talk jargons.....[/quote]

Are you answering them? Even from Iyana-Ipaja, Air force students and students whose schools are inside GRA board free BRT... You'll see then waiting for their ride... Go to Orile-Agege secretariat, you'll see long buses that pick students every morning and drop them at their schools... The bus just moves around while students wait at specific busstops, board and it drops you in front of your school, Government College, Iyana-Ipaja and State High School oyewole students will attest to this

No dey follow those ones argue abeg

Maybe the students should start using the remaining days to start farming or make dem too just join the Monday Sit At Home Crew.....

The one wey no fit go Farm will have enough time to enrol for HK....

Edo is about to be the Largest producer of Yahoo graduate from HK....

Are you a public school teacher? Do you have any of your ward, kids or siblings in Edo public school? If yes, what is the name of the school? It repulses me when people just come online to badmouth the govt for the sake of criticizing without taking time to get their facts.

Edo children living the dream of other kids cheesy

I honestly don't think this is a wise move though. Very bad decision. How do you make a child idle for four days in a week.

They should have thought this through and come up with a better way of reducing the impact of fuel subsidy on these children and teachers.

The kids need all the time to be kids and do kiddy stuff. The current educational system is obsolete, rigid, and useless to current realities.

Obaseki is very stupid. All those reducing the productive days of the week would have been more creative by not just reducing them but bring on board technology to fill the gap so that staff could work virtually from home. Likewise students. But facilities or incentives need to be in place. So we can make the very best of the situation.

Three days of school in a week. Western Education is Haram.
Do we blame the governor?
Blame the APC which has ruined Nigeria, made the country to become the
POVERTY CAPITAL of the world.

Nigeria's voters were rejecting APC in the polls of the last presidential election, but APC through its Mahmood Yakubu, on seeing that APC was losing, dumped the transparent electronic transmission of vote results from BVAS to INEC portal, he bent down to take his vomit by resorting to illegal manual collation of votes results to pronounce APC candidate winner. Mahmood had earlier vowed that no other method except electronic transmission of vote results should be used to conduct the general elections of February 2023.

You have forgotten that even your LP/Obi too supported the removal of subsidy and even cash crunch during campaign hence would have brought more hardship on the country had they won the polls.

To free themselves up from the vices or scourge you named in the bolded above, Edo state voters rejected APC during the last presidential election in Nigeria.
Many other states rejected APC in the polls, as the APC reduced Nigeria to become the poverty capital of the world. Poverty breeds prostitution and the other vices you named.
No lady without poverty ever takes to prostitution.
But your APC subverted the will of Edo voters and other voters in many states of Nigeria by brazenly STEALING the presidential election.
You have forgotten that the subsidy removal you claim is causing this present hardship was also supported by your LP and even the PDP. If APC subverted the will of Edo voters, then how come LP won in Edo State?

For increase of minimum wage and reduction work days for office workers I 👍 but reducing school days I 👎.
He should rather pay teachers for the extra 2 days to sustain quality education.

What do you people no, 80% of nairalanders are Yoruba and dey think with their anus, including d owner, during the era of COVID 19, how many states was participating in online classes(education)? But you saw Edo State through Edobest doing its best and it's really help our parents and the children in staying idol, let's talk of subsidy, this same subsidy affected all the state and capital, but yet how many have tried help the situation a bit? I didn't see any. Minimum wage of 30k is still there, but Edo State raised it to 40k, how much did your state government raised their own to? Edo state reduced working days to 3 in order to minimise the suffering of workers while also increasing their wages with 10k, what has your own governor done to minimise the subsidy effect? This subsidy also affected our children indirectly because the teachers that teaches them wether private or government uses money to come to school to teach, what did the government did? He also reduce the learning days to 3 and increase the hours in school days, and meanwhile the Edobest has been active since, and Edobest will take over the online education through remaining days... So what's bad about this? Truelly the yorubas are just too stupid because dey dont tink with brain.... All dey no is Edo non b Lagos, d same Lagos that we d Benins occupied first...Na witch una go see.

Be solution driven, the Electricity bill passed states individuals can provide electricity, here's your chance to be a billionaire

Nigeria's problem has NEVER been generated electricity. I don't rely on the grid for electricity as I generate mine. But u want some poor civil servant earning ₦40k minimum wage to afford privately generated electricity? Have they eaten belleful? That they will afford the bill for private electricity and the luxury of large volumes of data bundles for Virtual learning? You people should be real abeg. The impact of the "deregulation" has not yet hit the markets. When prices skyrocket by the end of this month you guys will know whether "be solution driven" will feed those poor folks
