What is the meaning of Haruna?
Where is it from? Ijebu?

I would be very grateful upon getting the answers from my fellow Nairalanders. I have learnt a lot o this forum.

haruna is a muslim yoruba name.

possibly derived from the arabic harun, meaning aaron.

they're all yoruba muslim names.

the original meaning is in arabic.

fasasi however is probably traditional yoruba.

Sounds like the the name of the Jebusite from whom David bought the threshing floor on which the Temple was built - Araunah.
