Topic title is misleading. This is for Nova Scotia and not Canada. In addition, Saskatchewan has a similar program for the last 7 years or so. 1 Like |

HBB1: I can use stupid or any other word if I like Did I call YOU stupid? You The issue is the claim that MOST specialist doctors in the UK are Indian That is a lie So telling us you work in the UK as if that will somehow make it true is not sensible There are over 1000 hospitals in the UK no one can tell us based on "I have worked in many hospitals" how many specialists are Indian This is a very well researched subject even by Parliament with plenty of information in the public domain. You are too anxious to talk about yourself. That is what is unnecessary |

pol23:These people are targeting resident doctors and that is crazy Most of the doctors you would meet in the hospital consulting room are residents. They are not consultants yet, but they are very experienced. Far more experienced than fresh graduates. They are supposed to be the pool that future consultants would be made from. And those are the people that US, Canada, Saudi Arabia, UKand Australia are targeting. They are stealing Nigeria's future consultants for peanuts. Who takes over when the current aged consultants are retired or late? |

The same way we crave FDI ,albeit, ignorantly is how they push for what they lack. It is called demand and supply with pricing as an intermediate force. Next time, govt of African countries should be liberal and train more doctors since they have lots of capable and bendable minds at disposal. All these cry of "they are poaciing our doctors" since will change nothing. |

Gajagojo: Can you read at all? I said 'top' specialists Why are you so triggered? Who offended you. If I say a few unidentifiable things about my self, have I commited a crime? Would you have been annoyed if I said I was a cleaner? So, back to what I was saying... Specialties are incomparable and everyone knows it (Or maybe you don't). In the UK, the top specialties, the hardest ones to do and get into are filled by Drs of Indian origin. That reality will still stare me in the face tomorrow. They are everywhere and doing very well for themselves. If you don't agree, it is fine. Happy? 1 Like |

HBB1: Any blockhead can pull out baseless data from their ass and try to pass them off as reality. Claims need a source and data to have meaning Whether you call it top or juicy That is a construct that has meaning only to you Even at that you still need numbers and a source Not your personal conviction |

Gajagojo: And you have those Numbers from Nigeria? Top specialty only has meaning to me? Guy! Stop embarassing yourself. Specialties have competition ratios, by that you know the top ones. Neurosurgery would have a higher ratio than say Family Medicine. Do you understand? Or you still don't? If you don't, I can't help you. |

HBB1: You made a claim that Most of the top specialists in the UK Are Indian So you must have the following 1. How many tops specialists are there in the UK 2. How many are Indians 3. A source If you don't have This then you are talking nonsense The only evidence you have is your biographical claims |
Re: Canada Joins US, Changes Rules For Nigerian Doctors, Others To Practice by HBB1(m): 1:10am On Jul 10, 2023 |
Gajagojo: ...and what numbers do you have to dispute this? The ones you thought-up in your unhappy sitting-room? Your rants are silly. When you do a survey, will you use the total number of individuals in say a country or a sample size. Or if they say 5% of Nigerians have HIV, it means 200 million Nigerians were tested and only 10million of them had the Virus. You go school so? Or you think there is a document saying top specialists in the UK and their origin? Is it not something you will see for yourself when you are in the system. Be reasonable oga. Better still, travel and expose yourself. You know what, na me cause am. I should have ignored your frustrated rants to start with. Whatever you believe is fine... It does not take anything away from these people. |

HBB1:You think because you have been washing bottoms in different hospitals you are now an expert on the NHS? You are the one that manufactured the term Top specialist I don't have to have any numbers Presumably you went to school and did elementary logic He who asserts must prove The onus is on you I don't have to disprove anything If you come out and say a UFO landed in your garden last night it would be stupid to ask me to prove that did not happen when I ask you to prove it did You talk now like a fool asking me to travel and expose myself? Do you know where I am? I am.just not immature like you talking foolishly about my biography There is no need to talk about stupid surveys when the Generall medical council already have the information Parliament have the information and it is not secret That data has been collected, analysed regularly and studies published as far back as 2001 So yes there is data about where every doctor in the UK practising today got their first degree and what they are doing now What is not there is Top specialist because it has no meaning You just made that up |

NtoAkwaIbom: My dear it cannot work except it applies to every graduate as that would equate to modern day slavery. Secondly have you thought of the wages of Drs and the conditions under which they work. How many medical officers own cars, how many live in reasonable housing, how many can send their kids to good schools, how many are able to buy a house before retirement. People like you will still call on the phone and ask for free consultation “Paul ur son has fever and catered what can he use” Hospitals no longer have Drs, no Drs available for employment and sadly they are not being replaced, we are doing four times the work, Seychelles pays $3000 a month medical officers earn 150,000-180,000 a month transportation alone is about 50-60k. The school fees of zoologists and computer scientists as well as yoruba graduates was subsidized so also make them sign to serve Nigeria. Yeye dey smell, better locate the babalawo around your house or face the reality that if you do not ratify medical workers salary (. Drs ,nurses, pharmacists, lab scientists and radiographers) we will continue to leave until you need to travel to ghana to have your appendix removed cos the waiting list will be 2 years!!! My kids also deserve to go to Harvard like the politicians kids, I deserve to live in ikoyi too cos outside nigeria Drs are in the high economic earning bracket, in Nigeria they live above the poverty line, google how much Gabon and even s,Leone pays, meanwhile all dr in Lagos are either living in iyana ipaja ,ikorodu! My friend left 2 years ago for USA Today he owns a 3 bedrooom in an estate in yaba and has just made down payment for his house in USA, he is married to a dr. With ungrateful people like you I will definately JAKPA break your head if u like!!!! Express entry straight to uk, usa , Canada, australia to name a few!!!! |
