boldbrainz is right though. If you slowed down to read the OP post you’ll see that I’m even supportive of the policies BAT has implemented so far even though one can question the pace.

Not sure how you’ve taken it so personally lol
Right about what?

Indeed, IMF is Evil, Obi is a Mole, PBAT under pressure" -Farooq's Cognitive Dissonance“ topic was created for analytical minds to exchange ideas?

Don’t blame you oblivious Obidient.

Madam, rest.

This is not your neighbourhood where you wake the entirety of your neighbours with a voice louder than that of a cockerell on heat. You sound like a market woman whose goods didn't see much patronage after an entire day in the sun.

Whatever your predicaments are, I strongly doubt any nairalander herein, has any form of contribution(s) in them. Drink a cup of water and wait for when a topic that is commensurate to your IQ is going to be created.

The reason Atiku is hated by the core North is the same reason his governance style would have been quite liked and appreciated by the more cosmopolitan South. Atiku's only pitfall down South is the fact we have refused to look beyond his penchant for colossal thieving.
It is not for us to "look beyond" his colossal penchant for theft but his to break out of the mold he had cast himself! Remember the recent SPV saga?

Lol.

Who can forget that?!
But correcting an impression formed about you over the course of 16years isn't a task you can achieve with a Press conference in front of a thousand cameras my brother.. grin. Even if the one person who put the deluxe toga of thievery on him decides to stand on National television and disclaim his own words today, Atiku will always be a thieving charlatan in the eyes of Nigerians.

If we are to judge by personalities, style of Governance and belief system. Academic Qualifications, Landmarks and even off-politics achievement, Iswear, Obi and BAT shouldnt be in same sentence

The only and last time time they appeared together was during the election period and BAT won...Elsewhere, they're not Equal

Pitobi is 2centuries behind BAT in intellectual prowess
Is it the same stuttering, blabbering Bulaba you're referring to? Look at the mess he has plunged Nigeria into in less than 2 months

First off, Tinubu has no clear-cut political ideology that can be considered dynamic enough to be categorised as being a socialist or a capitalist. He's just a man who is result oriented and can "hang a neck" while in the pursuit of loyalty. These are more likely traits you pick up in the course of dealing in a lifestyle such as he had while in the Chicago trade world.

If you read Mario Puzo's "The Godfather", you'll better relate to Tinubu's personality than studying him politically. He only imbibes the concepts of capitalism and socialism when they best suit his narrative and perceived style of "societal dominance", which is almost always mistaken for governance.

Secondly, what support he got from the North was again, a resultant offspring of the loyalty he showed to their son in 2015, channelling his resources and wherewithal to help enthrone Buhari despite his previous failed attempts at the Presidency. That was primarily why Northern governors felt the compulsion to put a united foot down in drumming his endorsement to the Northern powers that be, because Tinubu had a debt hanging over their heads. He was there for Buhari, it was time the North returned the favour. The man as earlier stated, has an in-depth grasp of the concept of loyalty. And the North hardly breaks a promise or ignores a debt owed. The religion aspect was just a spicing on the recipe.

I still feel you're criticising his character more than his ideology but you make a fair point in that you need a certain level of uprightness to be able to stick to any ideology. If you're right then we shouldn't be surprised to see him go back on these policies especially out of loyalty to his northern cabal. Maybe that is what forced 8k palliatives.

And to your second point, I can't really argue with it. It certainly feels that way when you listen to what El Rufai etc said before and after the election. These people felt they owed it to Tinubu. And if BAT doesn't care an iota about ideology then it would make sense why they are in alliance but removing subsidy and allowing the markets dictate the naira rate at the same time certainly points to capitalists leanings.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out in the coming months and years
