Validated:
Meaning he would have saved N6T in one year and N24T in 4 years.

Meaning Abuja will overtake Dubai in development

Meaning that he has saved N5000 or $6.66 per Nigerian and would be saving N30000 or $40 per person in a year.

$40 saved in a year is equivalent to 3hrs wages in another citizen's or human country.

Meaning Nigeria will still have over 133m in multidimensional poverty?

Are we really moving forward?
Which kain analysis be this?Shey hin wan share the money saved to the masses? He's expected to use the funds for the betterment of all by investing in agriculture, health care, infrastructure etc

MY QUESTIONS FOR MR PRESIDENT ARE:
WHERE IS THIS #1TRN KEPT?WONT IT TURN OUT TO BE BUSINESS AS USUAL WHERE THE GOVERNMENT ROBS THE POOR MASSES TO SETTLE THE RICH?
MY SECOND QUESTION IS TO ASK THE PRESIDENT IF ITS MORALLY RIGHT FOR THE POOR CITIZENS TO REMAIN IN ABJECT POVERTY WHILE PEOPLE IN GOVERNMENT STILL LIVE AN AFFLUENT LIFESTYLE?

Money saved in his speech does not mean FG have the money somewhere. It is just one of those debts that was being incurred by NNPC.

All these palliatives and measures to cushion the effects of subsidy removal ought to have started prior to the removal but FG no dey get sense.

Use the savings to refurbish our moribund refineries or build modular refineries in each state. Establish many compressed natural gas stations or other alternative fuels across states, cities and towns. Encourage solar powered electricity supply to support stability of normal conventional electricity supply across the country for at least 12 hours daily during day time eg 6am to 6pm.
Why is the President not even talking of solving the root problem of subsidy which is building refineries? I guess all these gimmicks is to prepare ground for the private refinery in Lagos to monopolise refining and sales of petroleum products so as to recoup the huge money they invested.
Thanks op the first thing tinubu will do is to but all the refinery in order to ease the hardship,if you ask him what is his plan with the 1 trillion you will be amazed that he is not putting it in budget, our leader are too backward that,s why many dey japa to sane and organized countries.

A government that is scared of confronting and stopping few criminals from stealing the national food decided to stop cooking completely and suffer the rest of its citizens just because it cannot stop the action of a few individuals who steals the nations cooked meals, and the citizens are hailing such government as being the best.

Wherever they divert the said subsidy savings to, it will be relooted by another set of criminals in power, and since the same government couldn't stop the few criminals stealing the subsidy money, they cannot stop those that will steal the subsidy savings they want to divert to useless palliatives.

Madness runs in the veins of most black people, especially Nigerians.

You have said it all. Let’s suffer for their inability to combat the corruption hovering around subsidy

It's simple logic. It's like if you used to transport yourself to work monthly for 50k and you got a place trekking distance from work. You've saved 50k that should have been transportation to work.
Or you used to spend 1million in 6months on accommodation, but you are currently staying free in a place courtesy of a friend. You've saved that 1 million that you usually sourced for accommodation. Now that Nigeria does not have to pay for subsidy, that debt is no more accumulating. Also, the gains made can be rechanneled to other things like health, education and infrastructure.

Ok health is the 25k increase for doctors, education is the bus for SUG of which we don't know how many. We still dey wait for infrastructure. Mind u that 25k is not up to a billion naira.

You guys were busy insulting Peter Obi for saving money 💵

His own savings was different , he saved for 8 years without pushing them into the circulation , and without tangible investment for 8 years. His own saving was to help the bank he once work and rose to became one of their decision maker before joining politics . He saved to help the bank , get the interest , and not for the purpose of benefiting the people. Go and verify !

Don't mind his audio savings. He's just jiving.

How can you save what is not captured in the current budget? Buhari made it expressly clear that there was no money for subsidy as from June.

This people have a way of massaging their egos to feel good. Can you show us in reality the so-called savings?

Should the money not be used to subsidized other sectors
you are getting 500 billion every month

From the 1 billion as palliative, what else do you want?

This is the last liar of the millennium.
If you imaginary saved 1trn in two months, how much more will be said if we are not importing fuel?
In the whole speech, no mention of refinery, does it mean we can't refine our crude oil?
How come you knew subsidy was a scam, it was been paid by nnpc but you allowed kyari to continue as GMD?

Why not used the saved money since it was already budgeted
