Hon Clement Akanni Meets With Royal Fathers And Community Leaders Across Boluwaduro/Ifedayo/Ila Federal Constituency, Highlights Service Agenda Achievements

1st August 2023 - Boluwaduro/Ifedayo/Ila Federal Constituency

The Member representing Boluwaduro/Ifedayo/Ila Federal Constituency, Hon Clement Ademola Akanni (Olohunwa), held his maiden meeting with the Orangun of Ila, HRM Oba Abd-Wahab Oyedotun, Arutu Oluokun, Bibiire 1, and the Orangun of Oke-Ila, HRM Oba Adedokun Abolarin Aroyinkeye 1, along with other royal fathers and paramount chiefs from various towns in the Federal Constituency. Also present were PDP leaders, party stakeholders, executives, members, and other respected individuals from Boluwaduro/Ifedayo/Ila Federal Constituency. The purpose of the meeting was to express his heartfelt gratitude for his success and that of the PDP during the last general election. Additionally, Hon Clement Akanni updated the community members on his unrelenting activities towards the development and progress of his constituents and residents.

During the meeting, Hon Clement Akanni provided a recap of his achievements in advancing infrastructural development in his Federal Constituency. Some of the notable achievements include:

1. A working visit to the Federal Ministry of Water Resources, Abuja, to address water scarcity issues.

2. A working visit to the Ministry of Power and Energy, which facilitated a team of technocrats to visit the community.

3. A working visit to the National Productivity Center, aimed at fostering socio-economic growth.

4. A working visit to the National Directorate of Employment, focusing on talent discovery and improved outputs.

5. Inviting a team of experts on ecology to rehabilitate eroded roads and sites badly affected by erosions.

6. Plans to facilitate the establishment of a Federal Technical College in Otan-Ayegbaju, with assistance sought from community leader Prof Olu Aina.

7. Plans to facilitate the establishment of a Federal Agricultural Scheme in Oke-Ila Orangun to boost agricultural activities and increase farm product yields.

8. Plans to create an accessible platform for graduates, professionals, job seekers, and others in need of employment without discrimination or favouritism.

Hon Clement Akanni emphasized his commitment to all-inclusive leadership in his Constituency, ensuring that all constituents will benefit from his efforts for a long time.

In his response, HRH Orangun of Oke-Ila commended Hon Clement Akanni's charismatic and quality leadership, showering him with royal blessings. The Orangun of Ila and other royal fathers present expressed their desire for him to remain their MHR for several years.

Similarly, all the royal fathers and paramount chiefs at the gathering extended their prayers and instructive caution for Hon Clement Akanni to stay focused on his laudable service agendas.

Among the dignitaries present were HRM Owa Otan-Ayegbaju, Oba Lukman Areni-bi-owo, HRM Edigbon of Edemosi, Oba Adeniyi Olaniyan, HRM Oba Akinfin of Ikinifin Oba Bamidele Samson Olufemi, HRM Oba Oluresi of Iresi Oba Sikiru Adeseun Ibiloye Odumirin 11, HRM Oba Akesin of Ora Igbomina Oba Samuel Oladosu Idowu, HRM Oba Asaoni of Ora Igbomina Oba Tinuoye Joshua Atolagbe, HRM Oba Owaloja of Kajola-Ajaba Oba Bisiriyu Adekunle Adeniji, and High Chief Ogunriade, Ejemu of Ila-Orangun, who encouraged and emphasized the need for Hon to heed the instructive advice of the royal fathers.

Among the political leaders and party stakeholders in attendance were party chairman Alh Abd-Ganiyu Olaitan, party leader Elder Kolapo Lawal, Alh Sulaimon Bello, Alh Yekini Lawal, Hon Ademola Durosomo, Alh Hon Yekini Oderemi, Hon Banji, Hon Abd-Rasheed Bello, party members, market men and women, artisans, transport workers, students, and various other people from Boluwaduro/Ifedayo/Ila Federal Constituency.

Indeed, Hon Clement Ademola Akanni Olohunwa is poised to make a landmark development. Let us rally around him to enjoy the uncommon dividends of democracy that he ensures for everyone in the federal constituency.
