Laughable.
"Man with balls" PR is dead if this is true.

Just like Fela of blessed memory said in his song, " we just dey turn turn and we still dey same same place ". Subsidy is gone but it's back. Naira was floated so that there wouldn't be a difference between the cbn rate and the parallel market but look at it the difference is back. What an ingenious policy maker at the top we have.

Best way to remove subsidy is in phases. Remove certain percentage quarterly and use the money gained for all to see. Removing all at once is like drowning a child because you want him to own a swimming pool. He may not live to swim in it

I honestly don't know the way out, you remove subsidy smuggling will start, you leave subsidy the western nations would use your economy as tooth pick to remove meat ... The only problem I see here is lack of planning and strategy ...and sadly Nigerian are natural crooks... No matter how hard you try to straighten things, they will always break the checks and systems.

Fix the refineries.....

Then sell petrol at a reduced price. We ain't buying crude oil from any country why should our fuel be expensive?

May God save us..

Things will never go back to normal if reverse the policy, a lot of things have increased since the removal of the fuel subsidy and it is not easy to bring back to the formal price. So they should just sort out other means of curbing the hardship on citizens. Thank you

Just yesterday,Kenya President, William Ruto who also suspended subsidy the very first day he assumed office returned the subsidy for two months.
What these people don't understand is that subsidy isn't bad as people portray it, almost all advance countries subsidize so many things for their citizens but the problems in our own is the corruption in the subsidy programs. That's where the President needs to look at and not total suspension of subsidy.
