Instead of using our governments to control people, they have taken it upon themselves to micro-manage the situation of monitoring and controlling people themselves. This can be the launch pad to the social register. People should be allowed to update their BioData using their smartphones and the information.shouod also be linked to BVN and NIN. Such that with a click, all beneficiaries of a palliative programme can be identified and funds transferred to their bank accounts instead of the current distribution of two cups of garri under an horse whip arrangement

I am not against digital ID, realistically we already have Digital ID like BVN and NIN but I am against the world bank being involved with my digital ID. World bank does nothing for free so what do they gain by having access to my Digital ID not to talk of the gain in being with Digital ID of over 100 million Nigerians?
