Why do we need Local Government Areas and Developent Councils? When we know that they don't bring development to the grass root areas in the right sense and for the purpose inwhich they are constituted. It has being a sure medium for corrupt officers of the Government to embezzle funds mearnt for social and infasrtuctural development with confidence and without accountability.
And when election comes they distribute monies, goods to lure people to vote for them and even tell lies of what they have done.
Then why do we need them and what can we do to make sure this trend stops?

This is another election time in the LGAs and all of the participants have being blowing lies around, and the incumbents have being doing everything to continue.
Must we allow these to continue when we suffer and smile?
